FR Trump: dangerously empty, populist and a proto-fascist. The man is a menace. Clinton: could be good; more likely to be just ordinarily bullshitty as President. She might rise to the challenge of the presidency - whatever nobility in her coming to the fore - or she might go lazy-spirited and duck it. The Presidency of the USA is, arguably, the highest calling in the world. She may see that, grit her teeth and embrace it or she may not. I don't know. But Trump - I don't have any sense that he sees that at all. The day after the result is announced in November, I could imagine Hillary waking up and thinking 'Right. I absolutely don't want to fuck this up. I've got to be better than I've ever been before'. She might think that, she might not. But Trump ... nah. I do not see him being on that wave length - or even having the appreciation that such a wave length exists.
