MrRodgers -> Most recent post convention polls (8/4/2016 11:29:20 AM)

Fox News kinkroids...no bias here. In fact, watch as Fox begins to further denigrate and try to marginalize Trump. They clearly did it to McCain after he picked Palin.

Highlites:

Negatives: Clinton 61% say she is a liar, while 62% say Trump is a liar.

After the conventions, the Clinton-Kaine ticket leads the Trump-Pence ticket by 10 points (49-39 percent) in the race for the White House. Clinton’s advantage is outside the poll’s margin of error. A month ago, Clinton was up by six points (44-38 percent, June 26-28).

The Democrat is winning among the so-called “Obama coalition,” the key voting blocs that secured his re-election. Clinton is favored among women by 23 points (57-34 percent), blacks by 83 (87-4 percent), Hispanics by 48 (68-20 percent), and voters under 30 by 18 (49-31 percent).

HERE

I like 270Town.com Electoral votes as of 8/4/16

Clinton 249
Trump 155

HERE

Interesting numbers from Rasmussen:

Clinton 44%
Trump 40%

Seventy-two percent (72%) of Republicans now support Trump, down from 86% a week ago, while Clinton’s support among Democrats has risen from 79% last week to 82% this week. Fourteen percent (14%) of Republicans now prefer Clinton, while 11% of Democrats support Trump.

Clinton leads Trump 50% to 32% among women this week, a significantly larger gap from last week. Trump leads 49% to 37% among men, also a noticeable jump from a week ago.

HERE

HuffingtonPost: as of 8/4/16 Plus many other polls.

Clinton: 47%
Trump: 40%

Maybe he is starting the self-destruction phase of his campaign early.

Seems that way and especially when you add in the up-tick in more repubs supporting HRC.

If he is really serious about wanting to win, he needs to find a way to skip the debates. Because he will get crucified.

No, he must not! He must be strong and face the debates. He must show strength. How he handles it will be the turning point for him again. He should be putting all his energy into preparing for the debates, anticipating all the attack questions and how he is gonna handle them in a way to his advantages.

Anyway, this is a man who have allowed countless journalist to interview him, despite their unprofessionalism in showing obvious dislike for him in the interviews. If he can deal with so many of that, he can deal with a debate, where the dems are out for his blood.

Very different from Hillary who is very selective to only interview with Journalist who will ask easy questions.

Not good weed. Imagine if a journalist had to interview perhaps like someone like charles manson or something, and they may hate him, but they still need to keep their own emotional feelings out of it. That's professionalism.

He saw the 2012 debates where "moderators" gave Obama more time, and were criticized for not giving him enough time, by their peers.
He saw Crawford proclaim that Rommney was wrong when he called Obama on lying about how long he kept up the video lye, and then once the debate was over and she had already helped Obama in the debate she admitted that Rommney was right, of course the damage was already done. And compared to Trump they were all tingly legged over Rommney.

ThatDizzyChick -> RE: Most recent post convention polls (8/4/2016 11:52:50 PM)

What the fuck does 2012 have to do with anything?

Oh, and there is only 1 "m" in Romney.

BamaD lives in the past. 2012 is surprisingly contemporary for him. Usually his thinking is stuck in the last century.

I remember when Charlie Rose interviewed Charlie Manson. He was truly professional about it and part of Manson's story got out. Actually it showed him to be fairly intelligent in some things. Not that he could fix your car or anything, but in other ways.

Genius and insanity sometime come together. Remember he never killed anyone, he got others to do it. He did take advantage of them though, in that interview he said "These kids come to me with 'my parents beat me' and 'my father rapes me'" and all this. They practically worshiped him.

He could have been a fantastic positive influence but instead decided to carry out a crazy and futile plan of starting a race war. But he was not stupid. I forgot most of the details, but he described his early life and it is not that hard to understand how he got to be half nuts.

And that is the problem in this country, the Parenting. Back then it was not as prevalent but now there are more people with kids who never should have had them. Their kids will not be raised right or taught right from wrong and one of us is going to have to shoot them someday. Manson ? If he caused harm to any of my people I would put a bullet in his head and not lose a minute sleep over it. But the government got him first and now he is adding to the national debt.

The name is Candy CROWLEY You still cant get her name right.
Here is the transcript
http://www.debates.org/index.php?page=october-16-2012-the-second-obama-romney-presidential-debate, the relevant section is...

CROWLEY: Because we're -- we're closing in, I want to still get a lot of people in. I want to ask you something, Mr. President, and then have the governor just quickly.

Your secretary of state, as I'm sure you know, has said that she takes full responsibility for the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi. Does the buck stop with your secretary of state as far as what went on here?

OBAMA: Secretary Clinton has done an extraordinary job. But she works for me. I'm the president and I'm always responsible, and that's why nobody's more interested in finding out exactly what happened than I do.

The day after the attack, governor, I stood in the Rose Garden and I told the American people in the world that we are going to find out exactly what happened. That this was an act of terror and I also said that we're going to hunt down those who committed this crime.

And then a few days later, I was there greeting the caskets coming into Andrews Air Force Base and grieving with the families.

And the suggestion that anybody in my team, whether the Secretary of State, our U.N. Ambassador, anybody on my team would play politics or mislead when we've lost four of our own, governor, is offensive. That's not what we do. That's not what I do as president, that's not what I do as Commander in Chief.

CROWLEY: Governor, if you want to...

ROMNEY: Yes, I -- I...

CROWLEY: ... quickly to this please.

ROMNEY: I -- I think interesting the president just said something which -- which is that on the day after the attack he went into the Rose Garden and said that this was an act of terror.

OBAMA: That's what I said.

ROMNEY: You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror.

It was not a spontaneous demonstration, is that what you're saying?

OBAMA: Please proceed governor.

ROMNEY: I want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.

OBAMA: Get the transcript..

CROWLEY: It -- it -- it -- he did in fact, sir. So let me -- let me call it an act of terror...

OBAMA: Can you say that a little louder, Candy?

CROWLEY: He -- he did call it an act of terror. It did as well take -- it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that.

ROMNEY: This -- the administration -- the administration indicated this was a reaction to a video and was a spontaneous reaction.

CROWLEY: It did.

ROMNEY: It took them a long time to say this was a terrorist act by a terrorist group. And to suggest -- am I incorrect in that regard, on Sunday, the -- your secretary --

OBAMA: Candy?

ROMNEY: Excuse me. The ambassador of the United Nations went on the Sunday television shows and spoke about how --

OBAMA: Candy, I'm --

ROMNEY: -- this was a spontaneous --

CROWLEY: Mr. President, let me --

OBAMA: I'm happy to have a longer conversation --

CROWLEY: I know you --

OBAMA: -- about foreign policy.

CROWLEY: Absolutely. But I want to -- I want to move you on and also --

OBAMA: OK. I'm happy to do that, too.

CROWLEY: -- the transcripts and --

OBAMA: I just want to make sure that --

CROWLEY: -- figure out what we --

OBAMA: -- all of these wonderful folks are going to have a chance to get some of their questions answered.
