In Canton Ohio where the NFL HOF induction ceremony and subsequent exhibition game was to take place, everything but the game will happen. Seems that the ground crew totally fucked up the field where the (my) Packers were supposed to face-off against the Colts. Unfortunately, due to field conditions (as a result of the painting job particularly at mid-field) the game had to be cancelled.

The fans who traveled there have got to be livid if they had tickets for the game (especially if they bought them from scalpers).

They had a fucking year... one full year to prepare for this game... they had one job.

Pre-season is a joke... and this was the punchline.

Gauge,

I agree that pre-season is mostly a joke.....but it does give us all a chance to see what the new acquisitions bring to our respective teams in terms of talent and overall production and I was so looking forward to see what the newest crop of cheeseheads had to offer.
