ORIGINAL: PeonForHer Jesus H Christ MA (Oxon) - Switzerland? Nothing ever, ever happens in Switzerland. Every now and then some bloke fails to turn up to work at the cuckoo-clock factory and they discover he's been up in the mountains humping underage goats. That's it - that's as far as it ever goes. When something so shocking occurs in Switzerland that it makes the world news, that's the time for you to train your telescope onto the horizon to watch for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as they saddle up and gallop forth. ummm.. thats along the lines of saying that small towns are much safer than the big bad city.. I will tell you that is a lie, a myth, small towns are just as dangerous as a big city, but cuz you live with only 500 people in your town and the mad nutter stat is 1 nutter/1000 people it could be the town next to yours that has that nutter living there (or maybe its yours).. I personally have more freedom and feel safer in the big bad city (even a US one) than i did in the (500 population) small Canadian town i grew up in.. In 2015 there were 91 homicides (that's 91 people dead), 210 serious bodily injuries, 2,409 bodily injuries in Switzerland.. This one just happened to make the "news".. its sensational.. meant to shock ya.. How is this attacker (who imo sounds like he has serious mental problems) any different than other attackers? well,.. one difference is that it seems that no one died (in a hail of gunfire).. so if he is a terrorist of some kind he is a very poor one.. Really, shouldnt it shock people that 91 people were murdered in that peaceful country last year? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Switzerland
