Gauge -> The Sandbaggers (8/14/2016 10:48:16 PM)

I have long been a fan of the BBC series The Sandbaggers. My Dad introduced me to it and I can never look at a covert espionage movie/series without first comparing it to The Sandbaggers.

The other intrigue with the series, if you care to read about it, is the fact that the man who wrote it, disappeared inexplicably. His ties with the British Intelligence beg the question as to whether or not he divulged just a bit too much.

Has anyone else watched this timeless classic?

Yes, back in the 90's. Similarities to John Le Carre and another writer called Craig Thomas who wrote "Firefox". I was rather fond of Craig Thomas' books and thoroughly recommend them.

GreedyTop -> RE: The Sandbaggers (8/16/2016 8:18:05 PM)

is it available on netflix?

The bbc has not produced a decent show since UFO and Space 1999.

There is this little known series the BBC has done. I think it is called Dr. Who.

Thank you for the trip down memory lane though, UFO and Space 1999 were two of my childhood favorites, along with Wild Wild West.

Dr who went balls up when they brought in that Smith guy.

But there was also The Avengers, I had a thing for Diana Rigg, and Sneed had an extra umbrella stuck up his ass.

A short running series from BBC was 'Prisoner' with Patrick McGoohan. An excellent show that never realised it's full potential.

This post should be in the Intro forum. It should also be fleshed out with some NON KINK related info about yourself so that folks might get to know you.

Of course, if you're a spammer/spambot, fuck off.
