NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — The state's attorney general was convicted Monday of all nine counts against her in a perjury and obstruction case related to a grand jury leak.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane, the first Democrat and first woman elected to the office, showed little emotion as jurors announced their verdict late Monday. The jurors agreed Kane leaked information about a 2009 grand jury probe to embarrass a rival prosecutor.

A lawyer for Kane, in closing arguments earlier Monday, had blamed her former top aides for the leak of grand jury material, which found its way to a newspaper. Kane wanted the public to know her predecessor had failed to prosecute a case involving an NAACP official, but she never authorized the leak of secret criminal files, said her lawyer, Seth Farber.

Instead, he said, Kane's chief deputy, Adrian King, abused his power when he sent the files to a reporter through Kane's political consultant. King and the consultant, Josh Morrow, testified against Kane last week.

Morrow, who had a grant of immunity, said he and Kane devised a cover-up story that framed King for the leak. He acknowledged telling the lie to a grand jury.

Hmmmmmmm Another bad lawyer.

You have no idea what its like sitting across the bar trying to litigate your case to obtain justice against a lying fucking scum of the earth attorney, and they virtually, damn near without exception. The tighter you got their balls in a vice the more they do it and judges play dumb and let them get away with it as a matter of course, and its the judges job to sanction their asses but they dont. All too often you go to court and you wind up with not only the opposing attorney against you but the 'impartial' judge helps them! It depends how much revenue the state will lose if you win! well maybe you do.

we need to see a few thousand more cases end like this.

the legal system in this country is a criminal enterprise!

and that criminal enterprise has made over 62 million laws since its creation most of which violate our 'reserved' rights.

Based on the totality of what you post, apparently you're still there.

And by the way, yes, I do know what it's like to sit across a courtroom from a scumbag attorney. which is why I made sure I hired an attorney who already had a terrific rapport with the judge.
American justice is slanted as hell, but that doesn't mean it can't be played if you pick the right lawyer.

Actually representing yourself pro se is much better, but it takes years to lean how to do it effectively.
