#DocStrange I wanted to say that your strategy worked. Thank you !

As to me, I am still able to tap the "Send Pictures" button, UNcheck the "Attach voice..." button, send the email with no "Profile Not Found" message.

I have used the DocStrange approved method of cookie removal, log-out, restart, etc and that has appeared to work (thanks Doc !)

So far sending a message using the "Send Pictures" button is working and does not produce the "Profile Not Found" message.

I'd also note that like blnymph I was always able to send a User a "quick note" (which I had not used very much in the past because of issues with formatting).

So far so good :)

Excuse my making two posts... grrrr ... there's no way to remove one.

Bad news, however: the problem still exists if sending an email using the "Send Pictures" button. An email DOES get delivered if using the "Send a message to this user:" section.

HTH,

Lawrence

I can't believe this problem is still happening -- it's like what, a year now that this has been broken? I've tried sending messages to Support. Historically, I was amazingly surprised to actually get responses from Support (it's a high volume free site, after all). But regarding this issue? Crickets. I even asked them to just tell me if it's something specific to me, but nothing. I see from this thread it's problem affecting lots of people.

Yet you chose to necro a year old thread to simply bitch about it...

Yeah, it's like the <bump> concept. Hoping (against all sanity) that some admin might see this and actually think about fixing it.
