Often it is turned around to; lefties, guns, savage darkies, religion, no matter the original topic. Or two people arguing about some irreverent bit of sentence whence they should get a room and thrash out the details
I think you’re doing well with your threads ( I thank you- I have just been around too long and threaded out on sites with forums over the epochs or for what I perceive as an almost non existence audience). They are really are not too many unique hits on the forums currently, nor for long as I can remember. Could be a reflection of what is asked or the topics on offer. Or whom is threading – obviously I am talking about the blatant socks. Ironically if they are not threading then there are almost no new threads. Tempting though it is to show them they ways of the birch.
The main forum page requires restructured and re characterized and expanded. I can’t imagine that taking much time. But it’s been like that for as long as I can remember. I think that, in conjunction with what you mentioned, makes it difficult for newer, or curious folk, to remain and partake.
