Now, in recognition of this great day, I prepared a special meal for my pack.
I actually slow cooked a roast on the grill and then chopped it up for them.
Okay, it was not a high quality roast, but still, it was a nice change of pace.
And they all got a chunk of baked beef leg bone. (by the way, if you do this, get the butcher to cut the damn thing up, I got tired and cheated, I used a power saw to cut this one up.)
Now, as everyone knows, dogs like to hide bones.
I have found two under my pillows (hence the reason for baking them) one in the couch, one was deposited UNDER a laundry basket, another was found under my desk, and Kera, being ever the original, hid hers in one of my boots.
