I also have been where you are. The quote above is how I found it to be.
I will only add this:
It is a priority that you shift your focus to the care of you. You are not only
exhausted, a lot of people in your position have drawn down their reserves to
the point that they can easily become ill. I speak from experience.
So eat not only the indulgent stuff to heal your spirit but the veggies and whole
foods to build yourself up. Get some sunshine and exercise while the weather is
still warm. Make sure to get your sleep.
Now that your father is at rest, you take care of his daughter. You have
earned it and it is what he would want.
