Hi. I was talking with something and now I can't stop thinking about something they said. I was wondering, regardless of what the law says, because there are many laws people don't agree with, one example:

"adultery is a crime in the state of New York.." "Section 255.17 of the state penal law states, A person is guilty of adultery when he engages in sexual intercourse with another person at a time when he has a living spouse, or the other person has a living spouse. Adultery is a class B misdemeanor. A class B misdemeanor is punishable by up to 90 days in jail or a $500 fine." "The New York Times City Room blog discusses this law on March 21st, 2008. The law is rarely enforced, but about a dozen people have been charged since the 1970's. The law took effect on Septembert 1st, 1907."]

if the following is even remotely acceptable.

"Hell, even in the 80's we had what we called "the company pap smear" where potential female drivers were sent upstairs to give the owner a blowjob. Those who did were hired. I used to have the girls I managed give Me one while I counted out the till each night at closing. And guess what- they had fun with it. People didn't take themselves nearly as seriously, "sexual harrassment" was considered playing around. My experience was that women were much more used to being objectified, particularly in public, and many were very comfortable with it (as some still are). I used to slap waitresses on the ass routinely, as did many, and they would laugh. And not spit in your food, or freak like someone was trying to fuck them, or act like their "safe space" was invaded. Nobody got uptight that I ever saw (I'm sure some did) and it was a much better time to live in, as a Male (I'm sure you would disagree)."

Arrogant, illegal, insane, clap-trap. This person is a privileged asshole that belongs (near as I can tell) on the inside of a jail cell, if any of this is the truth.

Hand to everything, I did not make the "company pap smear" thing up! I may have unusual ideas, but one of my main beliefs is the safe, sane, and consensual thing, with or without BDSM.. I do think stuff like this did happen, back in the day. Shady business owners and all that. If it didn't where did the idea to criminalize behavior like this come from.

Yes it did - and very frequently.
And they got away with it because those bosses were of a mindset that if she wanted the job enough, she'd put up with it.

From those women who had balls enough to challenge the status quo and stated that it was discrimination against women.

Having your job depend on putting out isn't exactly what I would call consensual.
Coercive, yes. Consensual, no.

And slapping a waitress on the ass is just fucking classless.
Leaving one question-"How exactly do you know they didn't spit in your food, or worse?"

What he needs is reminding that the smile, or laugh did not mean consent. He also needs reminding that his way of thinking is exactly what would lead most women to want to throat punch him.

I know kicking him in the balls would make me smile, probably laugh too, but I doubt he'd take it in the same way as he's expecting us to take his bullshit.

Oh bullshit. Advocacy like that comes from ugly bitches who can't compete and want to try and eliminate the advantages that attractive women possess.

That's always why attractive feminists are not only rare but stupendously ironic. They're advocating for a movement designed to reduce their personal power.

Really??

I gotta say that most waitresses and women serving in retail outlets are usually quite attractive - or at least fuckable!

Maybe you live in Ugly Town or something to give you that impression.

Yes they are - but they're not exactly advocates are they? The advocates are the loud, ugly bitches you see ranting and raving. The ones whose lack of sexual power sees them try and gain power in other ways.

(This is also why women tend toward feminism as they age and their sexual power fades).

I generally don't see that happening here.

You must really hate these women.
I think they deserve equal rights from asshats with your style of 'right'.
Good on 'em for standing up - ugly or not.

Of course not - and these situations are rarely as black and white as people make them out. The "jobs for blowjobs" concept goes beyond my tolerance level, but playful flirty banter between men and women is not something which should be criminalised.

The "harassment brigade" has turned the workplace into a war-zone. Smart men now refuse to be alone with women or interact with them in the workplace unless strictly necessary because women can accuse men of impropriety without any proof whatsoever. The climate of presumed harassment fostered by the left has resulted in an automatic presumption of guilt - despite the reality that women can lie and do so on a regular basis.

Then again, sexual interaction at work is the last thing an ugly woman wants to see. After all, if she can't compete her self-worth will plummet. Which is why attractive women with sexual power are rarely feminists. They don't need an ideology to gain them power.

I find your attitude and PoV somewhat obtuse.

There is a huge difference between 'banter' and 'flirty banter'.
The former is usually just verbal and often not gender specific.
The latter is usually aimed at women by men with a sense of sexual entitlement.

Anything along the lines of the latter should be criminalised and those who think along those lines should be incarcerated poste-haste.

And it has fuck all to do with left or right leanings.
Why the fuck people like you always assume it's lefties is just fucking wrong.

Because there's no such thing as a right wing feminist. All these ugly, man-hating, pc feminists who have it in for more attractive women? Lefties.

Try looking here for right-wing femininsts.
It's not a lefties thing.

Awareness, your choice of username is extremely ironic.

I have a male friend met through the work place. We were accused of 'having a thing' because we are just on the same wave length, and find the innuendo in everything. However, he has a very long term partner, kids, and is so not my type. We get on though like a house on fire, and our 'banter' is a mutual funship. However, I would not have assumed that same level with any other of the males I worked with, and I would not have expected them to assume they could with me either. I most certainly would not allow ANY touching, just as I would not walk up to a male and randomly assume I could touch him.

My son had a job in a late night bar whilst at college. He's well built, and a good looking lad, so got rather a lot of female attention. At the time he was 21. Now you may assume that he'd find that flattering, but like he said, WTF is flattering about getting randomly groped by women that think you're just there to be felt up, especially when your arms are full of glasses so that there is fuck all you can do to stop it? You can't exactly shout 'Get the fuck off me Bitch!', so you're left with trying to politely smile, and move your crotch out of the way.

This is what it's been like for women for decades, and it's wrong on both sides of the coin.

Needles

I can't believe this tired debate is even still happening n 2016, but I guess the rise of Trump is unleashing a lot of mindless crypto-misogyny aching to find release for its long-repressed, reactionary voice.

How do you think I earned the nick of "Grouchy Olde Dinosaur"?
