I sure hell hope Aliens, strange creatures from other planets, who are just people with a different culture and maybe abilities and appearances, are the ones who is existing, rather than the Biblical God or the Quranic Allah. Those two guys are what I call Nasty Aliens with super powers.

I always thought it made more sense IF Earth was an Alien Experiment. Rather than the existence of Mythical Gods pretending to be the good guys.

Prefer Streiber to von Daniken, do we?

von Daniken

Sheesh, there's an old memory. I read Gods From Outer Space and Chariots of the Gods so many times the books fell apart.

You know von Daniken was sued by Robert Charroux for passing of Charroux's pre-existing theory as his own original theory?
I was quite surprised to find that out, as I'd always thought he was ripping off HP Lovecraft myself...

I seem to remember there being a big stink about one of his books but I can't really recall it. To be honest, I never went much further into the subject than those books. I've never directly read Lovecraft or Charroux.

Whoremods von daniken I do not like, and yes you are correct he stole his work – patient zero escapes me there may have been someone in the 1800s.

Graham Hancock I admire – I cannot cite anyone else. I am not saying the rest of the rabble do not have the occasional good point it’s just that they are prone to sophistry – odd hancock used that word in Magicians of the Gods – the book is super. Oh and that geologist gets pass marks whats his name Robert Scoch or something

But, I myself at least, believe almost all religion owes its origins to aliens, or possibly huwmans long vanquished by time itself by cataclysms - which are a regular occurrence

So many religious texts to cite - I always cite the book of Enoch

He claims the Book of Dyzan was a real thing (rather than something Blavatsky made up), but that was the other end of the nineteenth century. What are you thinking of here?

It has been rumored, I know not where, that Aliens are boycotting Earth because, following the State of North Carolina reasoning, no nation will provide them a bathroom pass until their genitals are inspected.

I understand they keep checking on us I guess, if only to make sure the kids aren't still playing with matches. (nukes) But having understood what NC was up to, they once again decided....'Let's go, still no intelligent life down there.'

Having gone from horseback, stuck on the ground to a tiny little trip to their moon and probes in their solar system in the blip of one of their centuries, we have way overestimated them since.

They thinking, hell...these beings can't even make up in their stunted little minds on which is more important...profits or sexual inclinations and all of the while...still stealing from and killing each other wholesale.

However, they may hold earthlings out as role models for galactic insanity.

Either that or they're mintoring the planet as a soap opera:

I have no doubt that Aliens exist. It is a mathematical certainty. I would be pleasently surprised if when they reach Enceladus (scheduled to have instruments there in 2020), they find some form of life. I would be disappointed if they didn't.
It appears the cosmos for some reason created amino acids. We find them in both comets and asteroids. So it suggests they at one time were being made and are common place. Perhaps it is something that happens in the vaccuum of space easily and not so much here on Earth, perhaps our star system was seeded by aliens 4.5 Billion years ago ... like in Star Trek ...

S.E.T.I. is so much science for science sake, rather than a truly concerted effort. Yes they listen to thousands of channels of Microwave emissions (the kind not produced by most celestial processes) thinking they just might find someone. However the search is nearly pointless.
Let's do a thought experienment shall we?
Assume there are Aliens, and the galaxies team with life (not a truly outrageous supposition). Assume for one moment in time, however briefly there arrises another intelligent speicies other than those handful of sentient ones here on Earth (dolphins, squids, crows, elephatns ... pesky humans ... et.al.) Assume they are technologically advanced ... none of this is implausible. That these intelligent speicies are using a communications form we can intercept, and even interpret ...
They would have to be using this technology within a radius of 50 light years, withing the past fifty years. It's much more likely any advanced civilization would either have advanced beyond using such technologies or be further away than we can connect with.
You'd essentially have to find another planet at the same stage of technological development as we are, within our local area (say 100 light years) for us to detect them within the next 50 years. An outrageous proposition at best.
"We lack the imagination to understand that which we have no concieved."

Yes there are Aliens, yes it is likely empires of little green men have risen and fallen somewhere else in the Universe in its 13.8 billion year history. It is unlikely we will be chatting with them any time soon, as a civilization to civilization.

As for faster than light travel, I think it certainly is possible, even plausible with our current understanding of physics (provided the Zero point energy camp is right). We know space can be warped, we know you can produce energy easily in high concentrations, perhaps even high enough to warp space. It just has to be developed.
If Aliens came to Earth tomorrow and said we've been watching you and learned your language from your internet, we're screwed though. Because they'd be racist nazi's from planet X.

No, they would be from Zargon (Zargonians) and they'd tell us to stop killing each other over resources or gods and using the planet as a commercial toilet that we soon will no longer be able to 'flush' and if we don't...they will come down, wipe out half of us and enslave the other half.

According the the Russian secret book of space, there are over 80 species in the Milky Way and Andromeda, some of which have been around for 4 billion years, want to take over, or are protecting us and have been at war with others and for billions of years and have been visiting earth and abducting humans for millennia.

FR

My turn to blow your mind. I have written a story and some members here have read it and liked it, in fact I only got minor criticism on it that it was "too cold" or something like that. It is on the web, link on request.

But I had a hard time, so much so that I gave up trying, maybe I'll try again. I do't give a fuck about copyrights, I'll probably be dead by the time anything gets published and I get royalties, so why not just let it out ? (and I got more) But for some reason this thread brought up one of my dreams that I actually did think about writing. Scifi of course.

---

I am sitting in the livingroom watching the tube and this lighted thing flies in and lands on the couch, I am across the room on the chair. I am like what the fuck is this and like any human xenophobe I went to get a big board to swat this bug. I get back it is unfolding sort of and after a short time becomes a very beautiful Woman. In fact the most beautiful Woman I had ever seen. And naked. After what had just happened I really didn't feel comfortable with making a pass at her.

She spoke English. She did not have a name for her species but they are born in space and just live anywhere. Apparently they don't cause trouble, whatever. After I prodded her about how come you look exactly like my perfect Woman she said I took that shape out of your mind. "And now that I have, I am your mate if you wish, and will do anything for you, and means alot more than you know. "

So I ask "Like what ?". Fuck, you can shoot me and it won't hurt a bit, i could cut the power to the house, I can make it rain. And a bunch of other things I would rather not mention. And she could change. become a guy. Well that ain't too bad, a Wife who can change into a guy and you can take to the poker game ? This is starting to look pretty good, and she wants to have experiences. I guess we do too but this is a little too much for most people. Would you have sex with her knowing that she is not in any way shape of form human except in her present personality ? That her race doesn't have Mothers and Fathers at all ? But then you could get off and have a good time. But is it making love ? '

That is about where I stopped because I could not answer my own questions. I that is not a human Woman, is it more than a piece of meat ? And am I more than a piece of meat ?

Ask you this - if she has the perfect form, I mean the most beautiful Woman to YOU in the world, but you know IT is an alien who just took that form for YOU, would you fuck "her" ?

Now you know why you shouldn't have read this, and I a not deleting it either. Wrestle with it unbtil your mind gets as tired as mine.
