so apparently the NCAA has pulled championship games from North Carolina because of gender bathrrom issues. And NC appearantly responded by asking why the NCAA had Men's and Women's sports period.

Seems logical. No I really hate sports, except combat sports, and could really care less. However, there is a point to be made about this. If DOJ says that it is discriminatory to have seperation of bathrroms, locker rooms, etc, why do they allow seperation in sports or any other aspect of life. Wouldn't/shouldn't the DOJ stop international sports competitions in the US unless the countries comply with our legal philosophy? Shouldn't we pull out of any country that fails to meet our legal standard because they discriminate inappropriately, regardless of whether it is sports, education or anything else?

A logical point and that is you mistake.
This is based on emotion, not logic.

They don't, that isn't what the issue is.

Actually it is. Sexual discrimation against any sex is still sexual discrimination regardless if you are a male/female/transgenter/unisex/or a flipping lamp post. It is still discrimation.

Afterthought: Otherwise it would be a type of "Jim Crow" law.

what do you expect? all these laws are bullshit on their face and unconstitutional.

look at poly, some asshole in a high court decided to establish the gubblmint as a religion and said the gubblmint religion trumps the mormons religion and straight from god proclaimed thou shalt not be poly sayeth the lord thy god state.

praise be to the state.

No it isn't.
I'd argue further, but I just don't give a fuck about bathrooms or locker rooms and who goes in them.

That's an apples to oranges comparison, Ken, It would be a great comparison if the NCAA prevented a biological man, who believes he should be a she, from participating in a women's athletic activity, or vice versa.

I oppose the NCAA pulling the sports activities from NC, but mostly because I oppose the NCAA taking political stances. That, or maybe remove their tax exempt status.
