Feminists protest against anything that you can imagine which annoys them. From manspeading, ban bossy, air conditioning is sexist. Them types of things are just as trivial as a man oppressing you with his fart. Yet, a far more serious problem as displayed in the video I linked, feminists who are supposed to be about equality are no where to be seen. Why? Because it's a male problem. Feminists are only concerned when it's a female problem. Even if the female problem is very trivial.

I watched the video and just laughed. I have only ever slapped, individuals who have given me permission through their submission. I can't imagine slapping a man because he was rude. That's so 'hollywood'. Besides the last man I was with (he was vanilla) was a police officer. Would never slap him ...

Not really, I've been slapped for dumping my ex.

I've seen other guys get slapped in public numerous times. It being acceptable on TV does give some women the impression that it's okay for them to do it.

OP, I had to stop with the faceslapping because Cub was starting to enjoy it too much ... and I hit like a girl.

Seriously though, it was just for an instant correction that he wanted if he committed a faux pas that he should have known better than to do. This was early on in our relationship.

And here I thought that our rights were endowed...by our creator and they were inalienable rights that we merely form govt. to protect.

This was a unique concept at that time and in recent history. It was a reversal of mankind sanctioning and for millennia the concept of slavery or a right to beat (or slap) with politics and civil society having created entire cultures of slavery, involuntary servitude of various forms and of physical abuse. These sanctions were fully granted we were told, as god given, a divine right, to own humans as chattel or beat another as a form of politically and theologically protected property.

Now I ask, am I to believe that for society to rebel against that culture (secular society correctly deciding it need not be slave to that culture) in a new declaration of ALL human rights and to modify govt.'s political monopoly on such power to secure a right not to be enslaved or subject to involuntary servitude or beaten or slapped...is now a 'special' right somehow ?

How can that be ? Society doesn't grant rights. It (through govt.) must recognize and protect all rights so endowed and if necessary...restore them.

I don't particularly care for your constant harangued against women...feminists or not...but this time, you've brought up a topic that is out there right now.
