FR Is that the right link ? Nothing is going on except a guy got his legs spread across a couple of seats somewhere. Who fucking cares ? Did someone come up and ask him to move his leg and he shot them ? Somehow I am totally missing the point here. Like who fucking cares ? If nobody is in those seats then let him sit how he wants. Years past I knew a guy of Gypsy origin who could never spread his legs that far. He said it was a hereditary thing, the males' hips simply did not allow it. But anyway, I am having trouble finding any importance in this. So he has his legs spread. Big deal. T^T

I believe that this entire argument is two separate things. This issue is about people taking up too much room in a limited space and condition. It has nothing to do with 'women's rights, men, or anything else. That it is phrased as such in the base terminology (''manspreading'')demonstrates a clear prejudice not aimed at resolution, but in pointing out supposed inequality in how we sit (?) Pretty lame as I have seen men, women, and animals do the exact same thing. Stop sucking into the hype used to gain readers and see the issue as it is, rather than how it is posed to gain your reaction.

How feminists jump up and down about men being self centred with space on public transport while not complaining about it at all when women do it. That's why they call it manspreading as it only applies to men. As termy was saying, yes I agree, the whole manspreading/peoplespreading thing is something very trivial. My concern isn't about people spreading, my concern is feminists being sexist discriminatory hypocrites. Besides, can you just imagine if men tried to dictate how women should sit in public transport? OMG they would be controlling misogynistic patriarchal chauvinists that want to take women back to the 50s. As usual, people in here are calling me a whiner. The stupidity never ceases to amaze me how these people consider it as "not whining" when feminists cry about how men sit on public transport but it all the sudden is "whining" when a man points out the stupidity and hypocrisy of the whole manspreading complaint. The irony and hypocrisy is fucking massive, it's fucking uber, when feminists or anyone who supports the manspreading complaint points at others and calls them a whiner.
