I find it funny that before it was announced (or even determined for that matter) that it was a bomb that exploded in Chelsea NYC, our fearless, loud mouthed candidate for president Donald Trump made the statement after landing at an airport: "Just so you know, a bomb exploded in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City." Now, I am not saying that he knew about it before hand, but, considering the history of gas and steam pipe explosions in NYC, it is strange he knew it was a bomb before the authorities did.

[:D] (Joking, but it'd be interesting to see what excuses the people on here who think that electing a presidential candidate with Putin's hand up his arse would make for that if it was the case. Would that be too much even for them, or would they manage to Ralph Waldo Emerson their way out of that one?)

The point is that at the time he made his statement, everyone from the mayor on down were avoiding using the word bomb until they had enough evidence to make the determination. The facts are he made his statement when everyone else was avoiding the word 'bomb,' and before the second device was found that confirmed the bomb suspicion. It is kind of like that tv show plot device where the cops are talking to some guy about a murder and the person they are talking to blurts out how it was done before the cops mention it.

We don't know how the information was given to him. It may well have been passed to him that way. Not only that but with the situation as it is today you have at least a 50% chance of being correct if you guess an explosion was a bomb.

A lot of people are saying that his campaign planted the bomb in order to sow fear and win votes. I think we need to get to the bottom of this, and I don't understand why the FBI doesn't investigate the connection. But you know how it is--always political. Edited to add: A lot of people have said the same thing about his buddy Putin: he engineered the supposed Chechen terrorist attacks in order to justify his power grab. Edited to add: Hitler and the Nazis did the same thing with the Reichstag. A lot of people are saying that Donald Trump is inspired by Mein Kampf. Big fucking deal. He could have called the gas company and found it was not a gas line. And steam is pretty obvious. The fact is the local government was slow to release the information to limit their perceived culpability. It is not hard to figure out. He has phone numbers you don't. T^T

A couple of points 1) The determination that a bomb was involved came some hours after Trump made his announcement. 2) The bitch, who represented part of NYC in the senate did not use the term bomb when she spoke on the subject at about the same time. 3) If the device that actually went off had been ANYWHERE other than in that dumpster, there would have been deaths as a result. This, at least in my opinion, was something along the lines of "If we wanted to hurt you we could have." That worries more more than my jab at Trump. Somebody is sending a message, my question is, what the fuck is next?

Remember 911 ? We don't have the facts 15 years later and you are talking about hours ? They have to sort out WHICH facts fit their agenda and then figure out the correct (for them) way to release them. Then someone has to write the script. So Trump calls the mayor or someone and they tell him right then "Yes, it was a bomb". So he says it. It really isn't all that complicated. T^T
