Feminists are nearly everything what they criticse men for. Feminists these days act no better than troglodytes.

Anyway, time to roll back to sleep.

Have you mixed up two articles perhaps?

That article is about aggressive and controlling behaviour in relationships, and your title is about feminist rule on campus. Since the article doesn't mention feminists and says nothing about feminists being violent or aggressive, I am assuming your statement that "Feminists are nearly everything what they criticse [sic] men for" refers to a different article.

If not, have you perhaps you have conflated women with violent women, and then both groups with feminists? Do you have a problem distinguishing between gender, behaviour, political views and social or economic groups? Do you think that every bad thing done by a woman is typical of women in general and feminists in particular?

Stupid question - of course you do, on both counts.

Or did you mean to say that "Women are nearly everything that feminists criticise men for being"?

Well that may be true in specific circumstances

Or perhaps not.

One of the biggest errors one can adopt in one’s belief system is in thinking that one group is pure and another is defiled in some way. No religion is pure, no race, no gender, no politics. Everything related to humanity has cracks and fissues that need to be put on constant watch, and nothing should ever be placed on a pedestal above all reproach.

You really need to be admitted to a mental health facility for intensive therapy and strong medication to help you get over this irrational hatred of women.

The thing hurting men the most at this point is Nicky's incessant whining about how men are constantly abused.

Sorry, I am on my phone and sometimes it doesn't like copying texts. So when I did the copy and paste thing, it gave out an old link that I used from my phone a while ago.

Anyway

Some people in here really need to learn that there is a difference between criticising a movement (feminism) than there is to criticise a gender (women). Hating feminist doesn't equal to hating women. If that's the case, anyone who doesn't like the men's rights movement must hate men.

So, what exactly distinguishes a feminist from an ordinary woman for you then, RM?

The article does mention the feminist movement and the attention it has brought to violence toward women.

But yes, I think you're correct that what should be said is probably that women are nearly everything that feminists criticize men for being. (Not to presume your agreement with that statement, of course.) One doesn't have to be a feminist in order to be abusive.

(I do also agree in thinking that the subject line and the actual link don't match up. Especially since a quick Google search brings me to the actual article titled "How the Feminist Rule on Campus Hurts Men.")

Yes you are right about the feminist reference in the article, but I suspected that the more subtle messages about difference types of violence, what society finds acceptable and how we should approach these issues was missed by ol' respect. Of course he did, as I thought, post the wrong link.

With regard however even to the violence article I suspect that it is less of a clear-cut anti-feminist piece than he thinks, but when you see the world through one very distorted lens............

Well, you know, we men read his posts as well. I count that as abuse.

Methinks you have hit the nail squarely on the head.

It is very difficult for many of us to see what realistic distinction respect makes between women in general and feminists, before you even get on to the fact that some of the views he highlights are hardly shared by all "feminists" or are not the great conspiracies he seems to think they are.

Strangely, despite what respect says, it is frequently implied by men's rights enthusiasts that men who express "feminist" views or don't like the men's rights movement are not real men, dislike men or are gender traitors.

For me part, I see more danger in an exaggerated backlash against feminism than I see in the some of the more extreme views espoused by a small subset of feminists, who contrary to respect's beliefs, are not some conspiratorial cabal who control western society.
