We had to remove this thread, because to be honest, we have no way of knowing whether what was posted is true or not. That isn't a judgment call on the person who posted it. It could have all been true and posted with the best of intentions, but then again, it could have been posted with intentions of slander or spite. We have no real way of knowing.

We want this board to be something to help the community in terms of promoting safe and responsible behavior, but in most cases this is better served by the writing of more generalized discussions on the various topics related to these ideas. Such essays provide a learning experience for people. They are able to empower themselves through learning how to recognize warning signs that may lead to deception rather than blindly follow direct accusations that point at individual people, which neither the board nor the individuals reading it can really be certain of the validity of.

There were some great points in the original thread and we encourage any type of discussion that can help people think and act more responsibly. All the previous posts were saved, and if you want it back, because you feel it can make a positive contribution, please email [email protected] asking for it and we would be happy to send it back to you.

Thanks,

For an organization like Collarme to allow accusations to be printed without there being solid proof as to the validity of the statements would leave Collarme open to be named in any lawsuit brought by the one accused trying to clear their name. The costs of such a lawsuit and the negative publicity could be the end of Collarme.

It is a difficult call, but I believe if there is proof and witnesses to someone being dangerous, it is better to take the matter to the local police. If a sub has been beaten and raped, it is a matter for the legal authorities, not collarme, if someone is flogging in the kidney area, it is a matter for the host of the event at the time the offence occurs not collarme. If someone is using collarme to lure people into dangerous situations, it is up to collarme to investigate privately and talk to the persons involved and then take action like banning the offender from the site, it is not a matter for the message boards.

In this day & age when people launch lawsuits at the drop of a hat, you have to be careful to protect collarme from being embroiled in legal action. I think you made the right call.

im curious why everyone assumes it is the Dominant of the relationship who is the fake, a sub or slave can be just as fake, Dominants are human and also make poor judgement calls from time to time. We all make mistakes and it is us who can admit to them which makes us able to move forward. I admit i made a mistake choosing my sister, for she was a fake. We live we learn we move on.

thank you

If a slave or sub is fake someone gets stood up or does not get their tea. If a Dom/ina is fake felonies can occur. (It is hard to murder someone who has bound and gagged you.)

A "fake sub" can have the ulterior motive of getting into my private space and turning the tables. It has happened to me once as I posted in detail in another thread .

My dear Iwill-

While I in _no_ way would deny the risks to the other side of the slash, It's pretty risky on my side too.

Bailey (or anyone I have worked with) could have gone to the cops a few days later, filed charges, and I'd likely end up doing time for unlawful imprisonment, Assault, Battery, Rape, and Racketering (useing the internet as an instrument of criminality to lure someone across state lines to commit a crime upon them falls under RICO act).

Our negotiation consisted of two questions- I asked "are you going to trust me?" and she replied, "do you trust me?" which is the best answer I can hope for- she knows that I am putting a lot on the line, too.

Crimal charges aside, one's reputation can be destroyed both in the scene, and in the wide world, by someone with morning after remorse crying 'victim'.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

topcat,

I stand corrected, but the difference of degree still stands.

In your worse case scenario you are explaining yourself to a judge.

In her worse case example she is pushing up daisies.

I belittled the Dom/ina's risk, but it is still less than death, rape, non-consentual torture, etc.

Before I say anything else, I will say I am not an attorney. I know as little about the law as I can get away with. If I have a question, or a situation, I know who to ask about it, or who to give it to for it to be handled correctly and efficiently.

I didn't see the thread, but I've been involved on message boards and forums since 1986, and I'd be interested to know how a site can be involved legally. Other than information (and names, etc, are generally filtered out) being posted, I wouldn't think the site is responsible in any way for the actual "information".

Wrong. It is quite possible that the end result could be death, rape and/or non-consensual torture.

Milady A.-

Sorry- it's my poor attempt at spelling the sound of sucking your teeth in surprise/annoyance. I think it's a japanese thing, actually, and I can't do it aloud, but I think it often.

Stay warm,

Yet another reason I like playing in "public" spaces on the first date. This occured at Paddles in NYC and so we both had witnesses. Then you are not reduced to "he said" / "she said" -- she being the one with the briuses.

My dear girl-

Actually, the minute you were cuffed to the railing, I was commiting a crime under NYS statues. I then brandished a knife ( misdemenor) commited a lewd act (misdemenor), and comiited battery (felony) and misdemeanor assault.

while it's not usually prosocuted, the laws are still on the books.

But it was wonderful, hot, and I'd do it again in a second.

stay warm,
Lawrence

Lawrence,

I did. My reply to it there was based on that board.

Here I ask if he was a fake or a flake?

BTW, what is "PHUP". It looks like an anacronym. If not, well PHUP you too, buddy! (Only kidding, I think it is an anacronym.)

I guess it is not an anacronym.

<Sighs> et tu, topcat.

Breathe. Relax. Breathe. Think of calming waves crashing upon a shore. You can hear seagulls and the rocks grinding in the under tow.

Relaxed enough for me to ask if there is a slight difference in eachother's worse case scenario if they fake from the get go?

If not let's agree to drop it.

On another notes I'm still waiting for my instructional video on how to have an ass like Lawrence in just 5 minutes a day.

Think of a tranquil meadow. You can smell the flowers...

Midear Iwill-

I agree- it's dropped.

As to the ass thing- BUY CHAPS!

They are like a wonder-bra for your butt. Nuns will comment on them. You granny will make a disburbing remark. Strange women will touch you in bars.

They DO go over better if you have a motorcycle with you, though.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Even if it's a K-bike?
