Hiho peeps.

Im wondering if you have had any experiences with le (BD)S/M when under the influence of psychedelic substances.

If so; how do you deal with the Safe-word issues and general responsibility.

Orgasms and drugs are fun but how about pain and drugs?
Excuse my ignorance here, I should probably consult with my good friend Google but if I recall it is primarily endorfins that are released with pain while dopamin and endorfins play a large role in orgasms?

I really doubt you will find anyone on this site that will tell you that drugs - illicit or licit - are a good idea.

For the record, you can't trust reactions when taking drugs. If you are being scened, then maybe you can't tell if you are sustaining damage beyond what you can tolerate. Consent is dubious when drugs are involved, even alcohol. And if you are on the giving side, how can you trust yourself with impact play if you're high.

It is most troubling, yes.

Just a subject Im curious about :-) I am no big user or abuser either way but it would be fun hearing what people have experienced.

I would indeed stay far and clear of it, especially scenarios where both people are using and where there is no third person. But people are reckless, youth especially so, cest la vie.

I'm sure there are people here that have been high as a kite and scened, but you may not get much in the way of anecdotes from individuals, especially if they are looking for partners. Given that posting histories are available, if I was looking pretty sure I wouldn't consider someone who posted about doing what could be dangerous things while high.

The internet has a way of hanging onto things way past their expiration dates.

Oh I know ; I know. But knowledge is power and there is wisdom in past experiences.

Maybe ye and I seek not the same? :-)

Anyway, I am not so much inclined as curious!
What people want to share is up to them, or the government.

You are the most real one! In fact there is none real but you.

i would not trust anyone on drugs to play on either side of the slash. the endorphin's are enough dont want to experiment with drugs on top of it even the dungeon at burning man wont let you play under the influence.

I've had experience in terms of helping squeeze an alcoholic out of the local scene.

It would be Gandalf.

And no, I was just thinking about what would happen if I stumbled into a place with a drag show.

I have always found it amazing that the same people who would stick a toaster up your ass, find drugs and alcohol so taboo. I'm not advocating drug use by any means, but about 90% of things we do to people in this lifestyle can be harmful to your health, and every one of them changes the natural chemical balance of the body. Myself, I DO NOT want anything to alter the sensations I experience in BDSM, as I savor the reality of each and every thing done to me. I DID have an occasion years ago where someone had me bound to a chair and used a gas mask to get me high by exhaling into the hose ... it made me relax more in my bonds, and it may have taken a little of the edge off of everything, but other than that, I saw no big effect. Personally, I do all of this to feel that edge, and don't want a drink or hit to soften the sensation. I've known people who regularly take aspirin to increase bruising, or eat certain things to make their piss taste bad .... I myself have done things to increase the size of my breasts, so none of us are treating our bodies like temples. Sure, no one on here is going to come out and say they took a hit of LSD before playing, but you know it happens.

Well, good. I don't have much inner geek, so that's probably it for the quarter. [:)]

In the other case, what do you think you'd do? You wouldn't act an ass because Puck was wearing tights in "A Mid Summer Night's Dream". You *know* that a lot of men played female parts in stage productions all those years back. Men who play female parts in movies, so on and so on.
