5% is the threshold for federal funding and easier ballot access in future elections. Also, IMO, it's better for the republic and your own psychological well-being to vote for someone instead of against someone.

Well yes, if they are on the ballot. Nevada among a few other states for example, do not allow for and this do not count...any write-in candidates.

I am of the firm belief that ...........it just doesn't matter...........

I voted early for Trump just on the chance of seeing the look on Hillary's face if he wins.
Whoever wins is going to get handed the biggest shit sandwich in history with the financial collapse that is inevitable.

When I voted I got there early on the first day and was behind about 70 people. They were definitely busy.
A lot of effeminate males dress in pink ( really ) and folks that didn't speak English so I can guess how this is going to go,.. but then again, I have said for months now that there is the trigger factor.
Which is that when most get into the booth and actually have to make their mark, I think a lot could find that mark going to Trump simply because he is the only substance in the race and people really are tired of the same shit.

It would be nice to find intelligent people to engage in interlocution with. While I am not a big political person I do need to respond to this. The Clinton Foundation is a joke of a charity. Foreign officials and governments have been the biggest donars. And those donations went into the billions.

Secondly, have people total forgotten about Benghazi? Hillary Clinton is directly responsible for the people who died there. Hillary Clinton was alerted many times to the increasing political unrest there. Yet her office denied the requests for increased security.

While I do not like either candidate for president, I cannot vote for Clinton. Being politically corrupt is one thing but letting our own men and woman die is just horrific. There is a reason why she had her own private email server. It was to protect her when thing went wrong. And it did just that. She should be sitting in jail for manslaughter.

I highly doubt that it was her decision alone that those US personnel got killed.
