And even beyond that, what dominant in their right mind would take on a sub they know NOTHING about, other than their gender and the fact that they're available? Why is it hard to understand that they might want to, I don't know, TALK to them first? Date them? Spend time with them? Get to know them? Find out if there's chemistry?

All OP said was that they were trying to help a friend find a domme. Didn't say anything about it being for her or at her behest as far as I saw. Not quite sure where you saw it, but if I misread...I do apologize.
