Yeah, this time it sounds about right.

And the problem is ? If a cop tells you to drop the gun you got three choices.

1. Drop it and maybe get arrested.
2. Point it at them and get shot.
3. Put it in your mouth and pull the trigger.

The people in this story obviously wanted to die. There is no doubt. As such, I lay no blame whatsoever on the cops. In fact even BB guns can hurt, I hit a bird in flight with my .177 on 12 pumps. That comes close to the power of a .22, but not quite. But you can still take out someone's eye with it. How would you like to go one eyed through life ?

As much as I advocate the crucifixion of cops who abuse their power, in this case I think they did not. If the facts are as presented, they did no wrong.

Do we know the facts are as presented though ?

If the cops had no cameras on them and knew it, if they had drop pieces they would have planted them and they would not be BB guns. That piece of logic supports the cops in this case.

Not this time. I will not support persecution of those particular cops until and unless some striking new information comes about. You just can't let someone shoot you.

I agree, but there are morons out there because these people were, by their definition , unarmed.

have a look at the vid I posted Termy
its pretty obvious to anyone watching it

Termyn8or -> RE: Couple killed in police assisted suicide in Maryland (10/26/2016 10:51:22 PM)

What do you mean here ? My little .177 kinda looks like a PPK or something. It is made of metal. They can tell by how you move it if they're good. (the very few)

They already knew they were unarmed. They already knew the police were armed. So they took their toy guns that looked enough like real guns and pointed them at people who had real guns. Where is the sense in that ?

I'll tellya. They wanted to die. I knew a guy who killed himself because he thought this last time he got busted was going to invoke the three strike rule. He got busted that last time for cooking meth and hung himself. (of course I don't approve) Uncannily, I know two people who hung themselves.

But there is no doubt that both of the wanted to die. What's more I think it is bad to put their killings on the cops, if the cops did not want to do it. But then they might have had no other choices.

You point a BB gun at someone with a real gun and expect to live ? If so then adios.

I mean that the are those who think the cops should have been psychic and known that they were "unarmed" these are some of this years armed people gunned down by cops.

As I said at the beginning of the thread I see this and cop assisted suicide.

Lucylastic -> RE: Couple killed in police assisted suicide in Maryland (10/26/2016 11:09:32 PM)

you might find something there
http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/crime/2016/10/25/wil-cecil-county-delaware/92720052/
The one I gave you shows the couple pointing gun shaped at police and getting shot(not falling)
I think it is exclusive to them right now...

Lucylastic -> RE: Couple killed in police assisted suicide in Maryland (10/26/2016 11:11:48 PM)

its weird it works for me:( its quite graphic

This is the site info

A man and woman sought by police were killed Tuesday morning in a shootout with officers in Cecil County, a witness and Maryland State Police said.
Officers from several police agencies went to the New Eastern Inn on Pulaski Highway to serve a warrant around 10 a.m.

A witness told 11 News he saw police activity and some "big guns" at the New Eastern Inn and decided to pull over.

"I don’t think it has really sunk in yet," he said. "Hopefully, it’s not something I will ever see again."

The Elkton man recorded the incident on his cellphone, calling what he saw a shootout.

"He came out of the room, took a couple steps, he pulled what looked to be a pistol out of his waist, he got out one shot toward the direction of police, and they did what they needed to do," the witness told 11 News.

The witness said he saw a woman follow suit, pulling a weapon, raising it and firing at police, which was corroborated by state police.

"Seconds later, a female suspect came out armed with a handgun and raised that handgun, again, refusing orders, and officers shot her as well. Both suspects were pronounced dead at the scene," Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley said.

State police said the gunfire broke out as members of the Maryland State Apprehension Team attempted to serve the warrant.

"It is a fugitive team looking for wanted fugitives. The team, this morning, was made up of members of the Maryland State Police and the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office," Shipley said. "The reason they were here is their investigation had led them to this location, where they believed two persons who were wanted by Delaware State Police on felony warrants for possession of firearms in that state were located."

State police said troopers and officers knocked on the motel room door and announced their presence, saying they had a warrant and the suspects should surrender. There was no answer and an officer saw a man inside the room pick up a handgun and move toward the door.

Police officers outside the door immediately retreated and continued to shout commands to the suspects inside. According to the preliminary investigation, several minutes passed as police continued to yell commands to the suspects in the room, state police said.

Without warning, the male suspect then stepped outside the room onto the walkway and pointed a handgun at police, ignoring their continuing commands to drop the weapon, state police said. Police fired at the suspect, who was hit.

Seconds later, the woman stepped outside the room and also pointed a handgun at officers, ignoring their continuing commands to drop the weapon, state police said. Police fired at the suspect and she was hit.
State police identified the suspects as Brandon Jones and Chelsea M. Porter, both 25 and of Dover, Delaware. Investigators found two replica handguns next to the suspects. Preliminarily, it is believed one of the weapons is a BB pistol and the other is a compressed air-powered pellet or BB gun. Further examination will be conducted as the scene is processed.

Jones and Porter were believed to be traveling together and were possibly in Maryland. Delaware State Police contacted the Maryland State Police on Monday, requesting assistance in the search for the fugitives. The Maryland State Apprehension Team took the lead searching for the fugitives in Maryland.

Both Jones and Porter were wanted on warrants by Delaware State Police for four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, three counts of possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, receiving a stolen firearm, second-degree conspiracy, possession of marijuana other than personal use quantity and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said they don’t yet know how many shots were fired, which is part of the ongoing investigation. State police internal affairs officers are also investigating. Investigators have determined one of the officers who fired is a trooper from the Maryland State Police. He has been placed on administrative leave, as is procedure pending the outcome of the investigation.

Pulaski Highway closed between Route 213 and Delaware Avenue in Elkton because of the police activity, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Department. The road was reopened by 1 p.m.

The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services said residents were also asked to shelter in place during the active scene.

I think you fucked that post up, it seems to contradict itself.

If you can't use the formatting (I can't, most of it) use a line of periods (dots) to separate things.

But the point is if you point a gun that looks like a real gun at a cop whether it is or not, expect to get shot.

I can't make it much plainer than that.

Possibly because your IP addy is on the same continent/country as the source.
There are quite a few sites that won't work unless your IP root matches theirs.

Same for those that post Fet links - they don't work unless you have a Fet account and logged in.

That's why a lot of our laws that adversely discriminate against crimes involving firearms make no distinction between 'real' firearms and imitation ones, even those that are blatantly a toy.

The logic being, if little johnny at first sight seems to think it's a real gun, the obvious intention of those using it were purposely deceiving those around them that it is a real gun capable of killing people.

In this case, it certainly looks like suicide by cop.
I don't think you can blame the cops for taking them down.
