Nov. 9th should be interesting, if this tweet from forer GOP congressman Joe Walsh is any indication.

On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump.

On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket.

You in?

Joe Walsh used to be the congressman for my district, but (thankfully) only for one term.
He is nothing more than a loudmouth bully.

For me, the highlight of his brief congressional tenure was this event, which was captured by local media:

"In November 2011, Walsh was videotaped meeting with his constituents, becoming visibly aggressive and swearing at a woman who questioned him about his comment that the marketplace and the banks were not responsible "for the mess we're in right now." He later apologized for being "too passionate" (Wikipedia).

I saw that piece when it aired and always remember what a certifiable jackass he was then - and continues to be today.
Check wikipedia for lots more fun things he has done in the last 10 years.

This is the same kind of thing as when all of those Hollywood people promised to leave the country if Reagan, then Bush, then Bush, then bush then Bush won, and I am just as concerned about it.

If fact since he said musket, I am inclined to think it was a joke, a very bad joke, but a joke none the less.

Guilty, also. My very first thought was: "How did an old, recovering drunk from Montclair, NJ wind up an Illinois congress critter?"

Leaving the country is the same as going to washington with a gun and "doing what ever it takes" is the same thing?
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.]

So if someone "joked" about comming to your house with a musket and doing "what ever it takes" to straighten you out you would just get a big laugh out of it.
It is pretty clear that you think about as well as you do math.

I knew he was a wanker (that is, after all, rather hard to miss), but I've never heard it called grabbing one's musket before, even by Americans. Is this some more prissy euphemism for people who think only welfare scroungers and Democrat voters beat their meat?

A lot of that going around......
I personally expect many suicides by liberals if Trump wins. Such unstable minds that they just will not be able to handle it.
Hillary and Bill themselves are not excluded as they would both be dead politically.

Imbecile then went on to say "It means protesting. Participating in acts of civil disobedience. Doing what it takes to get our country back." I see many things wrong with that waffle.

Our country - what a mindset, inhabited by insane-drooly hobgoblins I fear...his brain cavity that is - trump must loaned him a few of the slightly less deranged ones.

For a chortle let me look up this gits (can someone explain what git means) worth - so hes skint and therefor homeless? Or does he live in a swanky house - or does daddy have money? Who the fuk is this non entity?

He has also raised venture capital for a living, according to the Chicago Tribune[25] with his campaign website indicating that he worked for Ravenswood Advisors, a Chicago boutique investment banking group which raised early-stage investment capital for new and small businesses.[23][24] However, he never made much money[6] and has pointed to salaries of $30,000 to $40,000 a year in the past.[18] In 2010, he had a negative net worth of $317,498 according to the Center for Responsive Politics.[26]

Controversial statements[edit]
On July 7, 2016, the night of the 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers, Walsh wrote on Twitter, "This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out Black Lives Matter punks. Real America is coming after you." These comments were interpreted by some as threats.[76][77] After deleting the tweet (by his account it was deleted by Twitter), Walsh wrote later, "I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words and BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops."[78] The next morning, Walsh stated in an interview with the Chicago Tribune that Twitter suspended his account and deleted the tweet itself: "The pre-condition for me reopening my account was they had to delete that tweet." He said, "Of course I didn't mean 'let's go kill Obama and Black Lives Matter.' I was not trying to incite violence against Obama and Black Lives Matter. That's crazy and stupid and wrong. It would end my career and it's wrong."[79]

On October 24, 2016, Walsh wrote on Twitter, "On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump. On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket. You in?"[80] When Jake Tapper asked him what he meant, Walsh responded, "It means protesting. Participating in acts of civil disobedience. Doing what it takes to get our country back."[81] The New York Post wrote that "some took his tweet as a call for violent insurrection."[82]
