Trump Trolls John Dickerson to His Face: "I Love Your Show, I Call it Deface the Nation"

Trump gets annoyed with questions about Obama, ends CBS interview That s enough

Have you ever noticed how RWNJ idiots paint every blatantly moronic thing Trump does as secretly being a stroke of genius, some sort of mindgame, a cunning ploy to lure his political opponents into his intricate trap? They never even stop to ask themselves if maybe the reason the genius part is a 'secret' or 'not completely obvious' is because it's not actually genius, and is in fact merely what it seems to be-- extreme stupidity.

I know there's always going to be a burning need to believe that Americans mostly know what they're doing, that the system works, that a total fucking moron could never be that insanely rich... or that at the very least, said moron certainly couldn't become president.

But it has happened.

Trump's personality is not a clever act, it's not a political tactic, it's not something that is supposed to make anyone think too hard or challenge their intellect. He knows less about politics, less about the world, less about reality than almost everyone else on this board... and he is too old and too stupid and too lazy to improve. He isn't curious, he doesn't have the humility to be able to learn, and he doesn't care or understand why this is a shortcoming.

He is a stupid, impulsive child who has managed to become the most powerful person in the world. After years of growing stupider and stupider, the American people have finally voted for a semi-literate, painfully stupid cartoon character. We all knew it was coming... Black Mirror even did an episode on this very thing.

I get that you want to support your party and pretend that it's better than the alternative... but pretending Trump is a genius?
Stop embarrassing yourselves.

I don't have a party. And i never said Trump was a genius. I am just saying he knows how to play people and make whatever type of drama he wants to create, and people love drama and eat it up like chocolate.

PS. I don't know how powerful he is when any federal judge can stop him on a dime. I'd say Putin is probably more powerful than he is.

in consideration of real meddling:

Obama on more than one occasion, AND since the most recent fbi announcement they were opening back up the Hillary investigation, declaring her innocence prior to the investigations running their course.

I would think that would be in the spirit of innocent until proven guilty".

Is she guilty of something? I am certain that she is. But until she is found guilty, then yes, she and anyone else who wants to can declare her innocent, and be legally correct.

Jesse James was never convicted of a crime, so we should say he was innocent on all counts?

He was killed by his own gang members for a reward and partial pardon (clemency) that wouldn't come and fearing James would kill them instead as James had done many times before.

Kinda tough convicting a man always on the run and who declared they 'would never take him alive.'

So [they] didn't think he was so innocent.

Don't know of any ruthless, murderous, dictators that aren't 'more powerful' than any elected leader.

Trump is his own sort of entertainer, and all he is doing is keeping everyone entertained.

mnottertail -> RE: Fire the FBI Boss . . . (5/12/2017 5:18:56 PM)

mnottertail -> RE: Fire the FBI Boss . . . (5/12/2017 10:07:44 PM)

Not me. I love to laugh and point out retarded nutsuckers and hold them in derision, he is one communist putinjizz eater among multitudes. He is no more special than any of you. Its like looking at lemmings drowning, no one is a special snowflake, they are all the same fuckheads.

Except he isn't playing anyone-- he simply does not know the difference between appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
His followers are determined to invent explanations after the fact, attempting to paint him as a master manipulator... but he's not.
I'm sure he loves the attention and adulation, but the only real talent he has is being able to say incredibly stupid things that stupid people love but that make everyone else afraid.

More likely than not, every time he does something stupid, he dives headfirst into whatever media tells him it was a stroke of genius, that he is a great leader who knows how to control people... and then he tells himself that's what it was. And then everyone else believes it too.

This has to stop if honest dialogue is ever going to take place.

I cant disagree to a point, but on the other hand....are you enjoying what he is doing?
I understand his base think he can do no wrong,
But most americans arent his base. MANY americans are angry who aren't his base, or conservative or liberal or anything in between, and they have every right to be. And its only getting worse, out there, not just in the white house, or congress, or the intelligence agencies.

But, and I mean this as a generic YOU
How long can you ignore it and how long before it goes over your edge, what is your "deal breaker"
Surely not only when it affects you personally?

Im "entertained" but not in a good way. But I cant ignore it, I cant just normalize it, I wont.

As someone said on something I watched or read today.
If there is no "There, There,"(what ever "there" happens to actually be) Jim Comey would still be head of the FBI today.
In all of this conniption fit, the news that the US and china have struck a big trade deal has passed unnoticed practically unnoticed.
Its fascinating, its draining, its annoying, its giving him everything he wants, well so he thinks.
But what price will americans pay for his actions.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can you please try to hold an intelligent conversation for a change.

Casting reality as a TV show and then whining for "intelligent conversation" is inherently contradictory.

I was referring to how reality tv shows like to 'create' drama to keep things interesting when anyone who looks at it seriously and doesn't get caught up in the bs realizes there isn't much going on.

real life informs and inspires fiction. in turn, fiction (or art) comments on and is illustrative (and sometimes inspiring) of real life. what you did in this instance was insightful and creative.

Because you live in a cartoonish, fantasyland alternate reality

In the real world everyone sees the president differently, and many can see the leftists fascists in the streets working diligently to shut down free speech and install literally communists and fascists

That sort of thing

With you leftists as his backdrop, everything Trump is seen in a whole new light, and he looks pretty damn good

Here in the real world
