I have been proved wrong in less than a half dozen cases with more than 20,000 post.

to the well-informed and even the casual forum reader---this has to be one of the more laughable, and blatantly false statements to appear in quite a while.

what im not sure about though is, is it a calculated attempt at propaganda, or as a result of a narcissistic, self justifying delusion.

Yes, what happens is I post as Peon, then - so that the IP addresses look right - zip from the UK across the world to Australia to post within the same hour as Tweakabelle. This is possible because, being British, I have access to a Tardis.

I have to agree with Tweakabelle, old chap. You're a fruitcake.

You're mixing up your socks. It was Peon who accused me of being a fruitcake.

This is not the first mistake you've made.

Both have called you a fruitcake

Peon's been doing it for a while, now he acts like he's suddenly agreeing with Twink?

He forgot which sock was which. As I said, this is not the first time these two have fucked up.

Oh, and shut the fuck up you stupid, obsessive fucking cow.

LMAO nothing but spew, what a surprise.
You claimed

It was Peon who accused me of being a fruitcake.

That is clearly untrue. as both of them and maybe more have said it, and worse.

He isnt a sock, that is untrue.
Neither of them have fucked up, fruitcake.

I will not shut up, I am neither a fucking cow, or obsessive.
That is simply your opinion.
Your opinions are piss poor.

It's great to see you posting again, RedMagic1!

I've missed your thoughtful, reasoned insights.

Thank you dcnovice! If I may...

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? This place looks like a city post neutron bomb. And the people who are still here -- well, Awareness has become a parody of his formerly intellectual self, and the "nice" posters are running down his looks. Which surprised me at first, but there is literally nothing else to do.

May I take this opportunity to observe that you are a fruitcake, Awareness?

I hope that helps.

On the other hand, he's always very vehement in what he says - this you can see by the way he says 'fucking' and 'shit' a lot. People who are really vehement just must be right, no?

http://www.seekfind.net/Logical_Fallacy_of_Argument_by_Vehemence.html#.WBSC3SSHMcM

Is it just me or is there something ironic about citing logical fallacies in an ad hominem attack?

To draw attention to the fact that Awareness is "always very vehement in what he says" is not an ad hominem attack. It is an observation of fact that describes Awareness' posting style, amply supported by the evidence of Awareness' own posts. It's more about Awareness' posting style than anything else. Peon's position is validated by a defence of accurate representation of fact. So there is no irony of the type you are suggesting.

Or alternatively, to answer your question directly, it might just be you. Only you really knows the answer to that.

Nu uh. Fact doesn't nullify the ad hominem.

Someone could attack me for my position on, say, current fashion trends by 'factually' stating 'Someone born as long ago as 19** just might know about modern fashion, yes?'

Any time an argument is addressed at a person it is almost certainly an ad hominem fallacy.

Your claim that "Fact doesn't nullify the ad hominem" ignores the fact that the post in question wasn't "addressed at a person" as you claim but at a particular person's writing style, as I have already pointed out once.

Your mistaken insistence that Peon was being personal generates to a new answer to your original question : "Is it me or ......?" Yes it appears to be you.

Perhaps you should ask your carer to explain it to you.

It's really quite simple.

Yes it is quite simple.

You are claiming that a description of a writing style is a personal attack. You are trying to turn something into something it is not.

You are drawing a very long bow indeed. Attacking a person's posting style is not a personal attack on that person. It is as simple as that.

@peontweakerforbella: Had the last sentence been omitted there might have been an argument for the statement's innocence.

But...
