ORIGINAL: Lucylastic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tcEaa1OXaQ Fox and friends with Martin O' Malley. "That's just Joe Biden being Joe Biden." Perfect elocution of the double standard. He's parroting the liberal talking point to a T when he states that we're a nation of immigrants, and that immigrants have made this country stronger (which is completely true) and implies that building a wall along the southern border is to stop immigration. It's only an attempt to stop illegal immigration. LMAO with all of trumps violent threats, you want to discuss a double standard for Joe/O'Malley reacting to Trumps violent rhetoric. It is quite amazing. No one has mentioned Stone, Or Balisado Ghouliani, Newt Gingrich or all the others that have used violent rhetoric against hillary, shoot her, put her in an electric chair, hang her, lock her up , take her out. Executed for treason. https://twitter.com/CNNJason/status/788040460883275776 http://gothamist.com/2016/10/17/trump_clinton_threats.php Guy shouting JEW SA at a trump rally. His(trumps) threat to jail her Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, posted a call for “pitchforks and torches” on Twitter. Kicking out a trump supporter simply because he was black (thug) Joe walsh saying hes gonna grab a musket, Fuck... yeah, its all a big conspiracy.....from theDems None of this is good but you want to focus on a double standard in verbiage, you really have more problems than I thought. Where have I ever said that Trump, et. al. calling for violence was okay? I think if you search, I've already commented, at least once, that I do not support Trump. Since I was critiquing the video posted, wouldn't it make sense to bring up the double standard? All the other stuff you mentioned weren't in the video, were they? [font=Sarcasm)I'm shocked, myself, that I didn't take the time to comment on everything ever said that had at least a hint of calling for violence in this campaign season.(/font) quote:
ORIGINAL: WhoreMods On that level, I always find the conviction a lot of the rightists in here seem to have that if they can demonstrate any sign of hypocrisy on the part of a liberal* then somehow everything every alleged liberal or leftist has to say about any issue at all is proven to be worthless hilarious, as they never make any attempt to apply the same logic to their own bunch. That sort of selective blindness and cultivated double standard clearly isn't hypocrisy, though, for reasons that have never been adequately explained. *(ie: somebody to the left of them, which in a few cases to be found on here includes the popular fictional characters Roderick Spode, Fu Manchu, Kent Allard and Judge Dredd) Pointing out the hypocrisy of O'Malley was only to point out the double standard he is using. Notice how I didn't make any blanket statements other than pointing out the double standard? I didn't even say O'Malley was wrong about his views on Trump. All I did was say that he demonstrated using a double standard. What's really funny, though, is that the two of you are (wrongly) alleging my using a double standard (since I was talking about O'Malley's comments and not Biden's or Trump's, there wasn't and double standard being used) to attempt to make my comment seem worthless, and then disregard anything else I posited in the post. I find it absolutely hilarious that the two of you are using the very same action WM blasts in his post (and, to be honest, when someone does what WM describes, it's disingenuous, regardless of which side of the political spectrum it's coming from, or aimed at).
