Lordandmaster -> handgun scare at Trump event (11/5/2016 11:29:57 PM)

In case you haven't heard:

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/06/us/politics/donald-trump-rally.html?_r=0

Amusing because (1) there was no gun after all, and (2) I thought the Second Amendment says we're allowed to carry handguns. What's the fear?

1 There have already been 3 attacks on GOP campaign offices so it wasn't the least bit amusing.
2 Within the presence of the president or major Presidential candidates, the Secret Service is the controlling authority, it is their job to assume the worst.
3 Why do some people , when pro second people concur with what are reasonable restrictions, try to pretend that those people should be up in arms about it.

mnottertail -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 5:34:06 AM)

and the assumption of the nutsuckers and welfare patients are that guns are good. I don't quite see the reason for the stupidity here.

What concurrence do the pro second people have to reasonable restrictions? if that were the case, they would be there. list out the reasonable restrictions the pro2 agree with, and tell us of the bills introduced that the LOLOLOLOL anti2 voted down.

I might even feel sympathetic if he hadn't suggested that his cult should shoot Clinton a few months back.

multiskills -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 5:39:58 AM)

A staged event. I saw two different versions. One he was being surrounded and ussured out to his right, the cameras left and in another he was being surrounded and ussured out to his left our right. There were no cameras behind him on the stage so explain that one please?

WhoreMods -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 5:49:16 AM)

Maybe they started rushing him off to one side, realised that the door was over the other way, and rushed him to the other side of the stage instead?
If they'd hadn't edited the clip and broken it into two segments then redubbed it, you'd have heard the swanee whistle sting played as Laurel and Hardy his bodyguards realised that they'd gone the wrong way at first...

hot4bondage -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 7:21:58 AM)

~FR~

Trump said, "Take him out."

Reminds me of producer Bob Johnston talking about Johnny Cash playing at Folsom prison.

quote:

Bob Johnston: So he did that (song San Quentin) and it took quite a while, took a while to get that crowd built up like that, and what he said about that thing was "all the convicts were standing up on the tables. They were out of control during the second rehash of that song. All I would have had to do was say 'break,' and they were gone. Man, they were ready. I've got a book called Extraordinary Popular Delusion and the Madness of Crowds that I've studied for years, and I knew I had that prison audience where all I had to do was say 'take over' and they would have. Those guards knew it, too." And then listen to this, "I was tempted." (laughs) That's Johnny Cash.

angelikaJ -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 7:23:43 AM)

Lordandmaster -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 8:28:00 AM)

All right, I'll call your bluff. What "reasonable restrictions" do you support? Think before you answer, because if you support any at all, you're probably going to find yourself unintentionally stating Hillary Clinton's position.

You're a fucking idiot. None of us say that people convicted of a violent crime should be allowed a gun. The NRA doesn't say that, unlike the ultrasickeing liberal bullshitters. Nobody wants crazy people to have guns, but you can't deny them knives and hammers n shit. What's more, you buy guns alll the time. You want others to give up their guns based on what you say but keep yours ? After your inane postings on here I think you should not be allowed a gun.

I am sure that Hillary agrees with everything I agree with.
I don't want a national gun registry which would be needed with her universal background checks.
I don't want people denied their rights based on rumor and innuendo which is what using the no fly list is.
I don't want a Australian style buyback like she does, that isn't a buyback it is confiscation with some compensation.
Get the idea? Her aim is to stop guns, mine is to stop crime.
I want all information checked on to current background check to be mandatory for the states to enter, she wants part of it left out.
I want gun laws to be aimed at the criminals, she wants them aimed at the rest of us, she believes in trickle down crime control, if you stick it to the honest people enough eventually it will affect the criminals, and even if it doesn't the government more control over the people and, to that is all the reason you need.

mnottertail -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 6:18:11 PM)

you are contradicting yourself, and you will have to pay to have the states enter that information, and keep it up, and that is part of universal background checks. Its the mandate now, but nobody is paying for it.
the laws are aimed at the criminals, but that is not stopping them without teeth.
You have told us what you dont want, but not what the proguns are for in reasonable requirements.

Lordandmaster -> RE: handgun scare at Trump event (11/6/2016 7:41:19 PM)

That's not even true, but since you didn't bother to state what restrictions on handgun ownership you'd support, I'll assume you don't really want to have this conversation.
