It would explain why all of the Denialicans and other such fuckwits spent the last eight years in the 'States crying like primary school pupils who'd wet themselves in front of class instead of fleeing to a country that isn't run by a PC nanny state, wouldn't it? (My own suspicion is more that they're not capable of or unwilling to learn another language, or even get to grips with a different version of English, and stayed put for that reason.)

Well, secession was the preferred method of separation for that lot last time around. It's funny to see all these posts about Cal Exit as if the first time such thing was ever proposed, in effort to paint anti-Trumpers as loonybats. In 2012 Texas made a big noise about it; San Antonio, Austin, even Dallas, etc. said "I don't think so" and it never got anywhere. Here in Georgia a group of loser clowns made the same noise, whereupon some folks in Atlanta said "Thanks for the inspiration!" and got up a half serious petition for Atlanta to secede from the state of Georgia.

Just cuz someone doesnt own a gun doesnt mean they want to give up their right to own one.. I dont vote, havent since my mid-20s but it pisses me off that the Canadian govt has a recent law that has taken away my right to vote simply cuz I havent lived in Canada for the last 5 years.. Yes, it pisses me off even tho I would not vote regardless, it pisses me off cuz it is no longer my choice and within my control whereas it was my choice prior to that stupid law.. I think Americans would feel the same about their right to own a gun, even if they never intend to own one..

Canada outlawed slavery way before the US did and many of the black people in Canada are descendents of those that came via the underground railroad for freedom.. The US did not want to give up their slaves and the US was the primary destination for most black slaves anyway, whereas Canada wasnt like that, no cotton fields in Canada so no need for slaves?.. There are pockets/communities of black people from places like Jamaica in Ontario.. but its not as warm there as the south of the US is so it could be that black immigrants tend to move to the US rather than Canada cuz of that..

Yes that makes sense. I was just surprised when i saw that statistic. It's interesting to think about the idea that if it wasn't for slavery, there would be no blacks living here in this part of the world.

These people are a bunch of emotional children, there's no way they could handle migrating countries. Even now I still have trouble trying to rid the people around here of their accents. If they keep this up, it'll be a good decade before they speak with a decent Aussie accent.
