Get the picture ? Mineral deficiencies cause most of the chronic glandular problems here which makes them money. Good eating can be taught but people already don't do it. I can make a salad so good it does not need dressing. Many people here think a salad is lettuce and tomato. Not mine. But lately I have had a penchant for Italian dressing. I have been dismayed by the fact that most brands have - not sugar - HFCS. I used to make my own, nothing but sea salt, vinegar and sour cream. I got tired of it. Also I pout the oil off the Italian and just use the good part. At times I have mixed sour cream with it but don't anymore. "Deep fried usually is in hydrogenated oil which is really unhealthy stuffs. " Not always. Here, if you order hot chicken wings they are usually fried in peanut oil. At least the good ones are. And realize that Crisco is used in alot of pie crust, so even though that is not deep fried you are getting hydrogenated in it. Hydrogenated oil not only inhibits the absorption of minerals from the food, sometimes it actually strips the minerals out of your digestive tract. Olestra was particularly good at that, but that is not why they stopped using it mainly, they stopped using it because it gave people diarrhea. They did not give a fuck about the effects on the body other than this would keep people from buying their product. It is all about money. "And it's not a British culture, it's an American culture, but I ignorantly thought it's all western culture." Kinda. Thanksgiving is celebrating us decimating the natives of this land we took. They welcomed us and helped us. The first Thanksgiving was about unity and mutual help and respect. But Whites violated that and now as far as I am concerned it is a victory celebration. That those people totally fucked over the Natives who helped them survive in the beginning. And this is how people like Whites treat everyone. The only ones who are as bad as us are the Jews, and it is pretty close but I think we have killed alot more. I mean, they would have but there just wasn't enough of them to do it. But anyway, anyone here who thinks we need open borders and let in all these refugees should not celebrate Thanksgiving. It represents a near genocide. And BTW, never spend big money on turkey. Turkeys are among the cheapest animals to raise, not requiring alot of mineral supplements and so forth and therefore have little essential mineral content. Especially for your brain. When the Natives introduced turkeys to the settlers, they were free range. What you get now is not the same thing. Bottom line - the food is shit. T^T

T^T Well, it usually cost me like $180 to buy a turkey from a hotel here during Christmas. Not cheap! Turkey is super expensive here. And if I want a frozen one from the supermarket, it's still about $80, uncooked and frozen. How cheap is it over there?

Dirt cheap. They go on sale around the holidays. Can you get chicken ? Just do that. In fact when me and the olman owned that house we usually had prime rib on the holidays, almost never made a turkey. Now I am older and just don't care, I would eat a hamburger. I mean really. I went to watching what I eat like a hawk and trying to get all the right nutrition to now when I just don't care anymore. I am going to enjoy myself. I will be dead soon enough, I have been destroyed by black mold so there is no sense in wasting my time trying to be healthy again, it is not happening. I used to drink to have a good time, now it is to be able to cope with life, aches and pains n shit like that. I do not want to go on their chemical painkillers. I still have some knowledge about all this shit but I am no longer pursuing it personally. I am eating too much carbs, not enough of what I need and am gaining weight and simply do not care. My eyesight could be fixed for about a quarter million bucks. then I could pay a ton of reinstatement to get my license and then STILL flunk the eye test because one of the problems is my retinas. When I am cooking Italian sausage I can't tell if it is done by the color when I cut it. There are a shitload of websites I simply cannot read because of their color scheme. I used to cook, in fact did almost all my own cooking. Now I am lazy and don't feel like doing it, plus seeing is a problem. I have never made a turkey, or stuffed one. That is not my kind of cooking. I don't really like turkey all that much. I don't dislike it, if it is made right I will eat it, and Mom makes the best stuffing. But my choice would be a nice rare prime rib roast. Baked potato, broccoli, maybe some cheese sauce. I know I am not normal. I think it's cool. T^T

We grew up having turkey for christmas dinner in the UK, fresh, not frozen, until I left there, and we have turkey every year here too. ALtho we had duck for thanksgiving. And I have done goose before, but in our family all of us cook turkey for Christmas and Easter. My daughter(the only one NOT living at home is doing her first christmas dinner for her irish italian inlaws, She is confident she will kick its ass:) I taught all my kids how to cook, my hubbys a good cook tooo. Usually we have a 20lber but the last one was about 15lb. cost 2-3$ a pound. I do my own stuffing from scratch, roast taters, and all the trimmings.

I eat chicken everyday. Turkey is rare, so once a year during Christmas, I try to have Turkey.

To make matters worse, the Left has this terrible problem with their own deluded sense of moral superiority. Even now, if you take a look around, the Left's election post-mortems are largely bemoaning how racist and misogynist the rest of America is. The level of presumption and simple blindness to their own faults is astounding. You'll see it in here with rantings from the like of Peon and Uggo, in which their response to disagreement is to assert that their opponent is a terrible person. Opponents of the Left are not terrible people - they just don't believe the same bullshit the Left do. As long as they continue with that wilful blindness and deluded sense of their own moral rightness, they will continue to lose elections. There's a reason why Europe is trending to the right in a big way - people are sick to death of liberal ideologues telling them they're pieces of shit.

I understand how you answered the question, but it does miss the point that although yes, less blacks voted for Hillary than did for Obama, she still got a huge majority of the black vote compared to trump. the case was similar, but less marked for Hispanics. at least one notable exception for Hispanics was in florida where apparently the vote was more evenly split because of a large population of Cuban americans who voted for trump.

I said I love diversity---that I had friends from all over the world, learned some of their language, enjoyed food from other cultures, etc---but that true diversity also included political and religious worldviews. in a manner of speaking, all the air went out of the room, the "feel" of the interview changed, we wrapped up somewhat quickly and yes I did not get an offer.

I drive my own pick-up now (and repair it myself), I've got more guns than people in the house (each and every single one for hunting, and I've got a freezer full of meat because of it at the moment... cause you hunt for food out here, not for show), and when there's a community event organized I want to attend I go to our local church to do it (despite the face that I'm the farthest from an Evangelical Christian you can imagine). I didn't vote in this election (not a citizen yet) and if I had, I wouldn't have voted Trump, or Hillary (I think that having the two party only system is terrible for this country). But I can tell you that every single one of my friends around here voted Trump, and I totally get why they did. At the same time I go to Denver all the time to attend our only 'local' kink club (a 6 hour drive, one way) and I have tons of queer, LGBT, minority, and liberal friends from there, who all voted Hillary, and I totally get why they did. I can pretty much go through my contact list on my phone and tell you with a 99% certainty who everybody I know voted for, just based on where they live. PS: My husband says I'm the only Euro-snob redneck in the world. [;)]
