I mean seriously, what the fuck do you people expect to achieve? Do you really think marching and protesting is gonna change the results of the election? I mean Occupy Wall Street was front line news for months and what changed? Fucking NOTHING! The Democrats nominated Hillary Goldman Sachs Clinton as their Presidential Nominee. Seriously WTF is wrong with you people? You want REAL justice, serve a term in the military, come home and run for office and change things from the inside! Why the fuck are you marching in the streets and in front of Trump towers? March in front of the DNC headquarters, and in front of the White House, and in Chappaqua NY. Don't be pissed at Trump, be pissed at your fellow Democrats, they're the ones who chose Hillary, then decided to stay home and not vote for her!

I do hate it when people protest after an election. Because they got no respect for the democratic process. Even if the candidate you hate wins, you gotta respect the process, wait it out for 4 more years and then rally your friends to vote for someone you prefer.

Those people have every right to express their frustration....But...What they and their like fail to understand is that rioting in the streets and looting, no matter the provocation, is exactly what got Trump elected. The black lives matter along with the occupy movement and the DOJ's non support of local police departments and general lawlessness convinced many independents to vote for Trump...in my opinion. I really don't think people cared about that as much as they wanted jobs and an answer as to why they didn't have them, preferably involving an easy scapegoat. FR I agree they have a right to protest, I just questioned why? And why at Trump Towers? 1, It wasn't Trump that drove so many Democrats away from voting for Hillary. 2, It wasn't Trump that made Hillary R Clinton so despicable that 8 MILLION Obama voters decided to stay home. 3, It wasn't Trump that totally boned Bernie Sanders. 4, It wasn't Trump emailing Podesta 5, It Wasn't Trump trying to hide official Government emails. I get it, they don't like Trump... Hell I don't like Trump. (I do really like Mike Pence though) But taking your anger to the streets gets you nowhere.

And peaceful organized protest gets you a hell of a lot more than just laying down and sucking it up, which seems to be what the Trump supporters want... which is actually a big part of the reason why there's such a divide. If they seriously have no idea why Trump's victory would upset people so much (aside from the typical Rush Limbaugh-style accusations of 'liberalism as a mental disorder'), then there is absolutely no hope for America because it is doomed to tear itself apart. Seriously-- political allegiances aside, can you not see that this wasn't a normal election? Whichever side lost was going to lose their shit about criminality and morals and corruption, and whichever side won was going to be sitting back, wondering why they couldn't just accept it and talking about democracy and obeying the law. Pretty much anyone could see it coming... so I don't know why people are pretending that this is a shocking development or trying to convince everyone that they don't know exactly what these people are feeling. Without changing the subject to how protest is worthless and rioting is wrong and everyone who doesn't agree with you is just brainwashed, can you honestly not open your mind to the point where you could accept that these people aren't just confused, stupid, crazy, etc.?

Meanwhile, if some Cornell students want to sit around and hold a peaceful "cry in," whatever--hurts no one.

But the crap in the primary, I'll be voting Green for the foreseeable future. America is fucked. It's oligarchy against oligarchy.
