With one state left to count, Mrs Clinton has nearly a million more votes than him but lost last week's election due to the electoral college system. Mr Trump said on Sunday this system was unfair and he preferred a simple vote. But on Tuesday he insisted he would have still won a straight vote because he would have focused more on the big states won by Mrs Clinton. 46.9% didn’t vote 25.9% for Binton 25.8% for Turnip 1.7% for Johnson

Yeah, but what are you going to do? The Trump win was horrifying but the system can't be changed NOW or else the people doing it look like sore losers. Fight against Trump, refuse to accept his policies, protest, stand up to racists and demand better government... but don't try to change a system you were perfectly fine with just last week.

I haven't liked the U.S. voting system since Bush 1, when I first saw how the vote of so many people were never counted. Right now I'm not sure what a better system would be, but if it is ever changed it will be during someone's unpopular presidency, and this one coming up would be as good of a place to make changes as any. . . that is, if we even have a country left to vote again in 4 years.

Monster attack - anyone remember the 5.25 sim city original? Almost 47, this week ;) Does democracy exit in the USA nope, the UK is bad but not quite as bad you usually need about 28-30% or is it 32%, I think (and my words on that system are not good). The USA system was designed to stop a minority getting in but here we/you are - I would say the same thing if Bint got in happened with gore was it? I ve no idea which party he was 26% isn't enough that is appalling I am still struggling to get my head around that,more so when it is still a two party system. So his campaign was based on lies & he has back tracked/opposite flipped on everything he stood and campaigned for – the climate change one is the only one he has not yet….unless I am missing something? I think America are legally tied into that one for 3 years now.

Hmm? The number of electoral votes for each state are alotted by the census. How they are voted is up to the individual states. How many electoral ballots are the electors required to honor the popular vote? Yep, it varies.

Frankly, the predictions of him getting impeached don't sound so farfetched to me. And if he is forced to leave office, that leaves us with Pence, who IMHO is not much of an improvement.
