Joe Biden was asked to run this year but he refused. The man is heartbroken over his son's death. He was interviewed on this before. Before his son died, he might have run. It's like now, he lost the drive to fight for a better future, because his own descendant is dead. He is not an option. His heart is not there anymore.

I guess I don't see it as a problem at all, as our own Singapore x-PM and Malaysia x-PM served till their 90's and stood strong all the way. Bernie just needs to prove his health is going strong. If Bernie runs for primary and gets overwhelming support from voters, then we'll know from there, if people care about his age or not. I don't think people will care.

They'll get the female vote, but they won't win. Oprah is despised by men because she's pablum for middle-class white women. Michelle Obama fails the credibility test. She's likeable but is unlikely to convince the electorate she'd make a good President. Sanders/Warren is the ticket which will win, but the DNC will probably not have the stomach for it. They're too attached to the idea of oligarchy.
