Didn't the mad man elect say the system was rigged. I do not suppose he has mentioned this since he trounced Bint by negative one million votes? Although the nutter went onto say he could have got the popular vote if he wanted.

I now imagine, in my minds, creatures first public appearance: he will be wheeled about looking all handsome demented in his suit of sparkly buckles...will also curtail his pussy groping claws.... Do you think he will have a drool or froth bag?

I am no ageist - no sirree

Christ the one called trump is ugly and fuking insane
Bint - something sexy about that - perhaps witches appeal to me

And who amongst us could ever forget Regans Alien speech - trust me within his scrambled brains the truth came to the fore...although he was maggie the olde hag wee bitch

Need to take into account that in 2020 Bernie Sanders will be 79 years old..... I think that the Dems should push for Joe Biden to run for president

Yeah, how can they run a 79-year old candidate? Better to go for youth with Biden. He'll only be 77 during the campaign (he turns 74 this coming Sunday).

There will be a new wave of younger political up-and-comers. Trump might run for re-election, but, depending on how the next 4 years play out, he might not win a nomination.

There are already people pushing First Lady Obama to run.

Joe Biden was asked to run this year but he refused. The man is heartbroken over his son's death. He was interviewed on this before. Before his son died, he might have run. It's like now, he lost the drive to fight for a better future, because his own descendant is dead.
He is not an option. His heart is not there anymore.

Berne will be 79 years old during the next election cycle. Virtually unelectable.

Is there a maximum entry age that I don't know about?

Trump is apparently the oldest elected President to date isn't he? And it's funny that McCain had his age used against him so badly. Dems were painting him like he was gonna drop dead any time soon, and the horror Sarah Palin will be President, while nobody used that on Trump.

I think it's all about energy they project. And Bernie got the youthful energy. I mean he is practically the old dude who connects most with Millennials. That says alot!

No, but his age would be a factor in the campaign and it would be unlikely that an 80 could survive the stress of the presidency.

I guess I don't see it as a problem at all, as our own Singapore x-PM and Malaysia x-PM served till their 90's and stood strong all the way.
Bernie just needs to prove his health is going strong.
If Bernie runs for primary and gets overwhelming support from voters, then we'll know from there, if people care about his age or not. I don't think people will care.

Joe Biden makes George Bush look like a mensa member.

I don't think you can compare what it takes to be the PM of Singapore to what it takes to be the POTUS.

I can definitely compare what it takes to be an x-PM of Malaysia now. Mahatair, at 94 yr old, since stepping down, has now form his own opposition team to fight the current government. Going out on street protests. He is going strong. THAT is heavy shit. Getting his own life threatened and the government threatening to jail him.

YEs by the time Singapore x-PM was 90's, he has acheive all his goals for Singapore and is taking it easy already.

Isn't Elizabeth Warren first in line to replace Bernie if he needs replacing? Either Warren or Bernie would have beaten Trump IMHO but the party machine won and put forward a very flawed candidate instead.

Can someone please assure me they aren't going to make the same error again?

Elizabeth Warren is like Hillary, not likable. If she run, Trump will destroy her.
They need Oprah or Michelle Obama.
Those two will be Bullet Proof.

They'll get the female vote, but they won't win.

Oprah is despised by men because she's pablum for middle-class white women. Michelle Obama fails the credibility test. She's likeable but is unlikely to convince the electorate she'd make a good President.

Sanders/Warren is the ticket which will win, but the DNC will probably not have the stomach for it. They're too attached to the idea of oligarchy.
