I saw no section for concerns and issues with CS, so posting this here.

The Newest Local Users link is filled with pages and pages of spam profiles with generic photos and pron and prostitution links, and the spam email is starting to come in from them.

The entire site is slowed to a crawl.

You may already know all this, but it would be nice if they were removed and their ip addresses banned, not that the latter is even possible, sigh

This has been debated a lot on this forum. It usually comes down to "Who is to be given the power to say who is real and who is not?". Who would you like to be able to decide if your profile looks real enough? So, instead of that nightmare scenario we have people just having to use their own judgement. We are all adults.

1. Ah yes those profiles they outnumber genuine people by a billion to one.
2. I have noticed the site is operating at a crawl just now

1. They she-->he have had epochs to deal with this malarkey they have chosen not to do so nor will do so...nor comment on it - they have had ten years plus.

In the meantime continue to support it and have a look at https://datingkinky.com a fledgling site but trust me that one caters for all

Definitely not sudden. I do tend to see a trend though. I have noticed over the years that a larger influx tends to happen around the holidays. I've always assumed it was do to people having more free time. But that is a guess on my part.

Maybe you would like to offer up your resume to support so that you can help with the problem.
Fake profiles have been an issue since oh at least 2006
It is worse now, but thats because it is poorly peopled with volunteer staff. And has been for over a year, so yes we know. You should wait and check out the socks we get here.
Thats if you are gonna post in the forum..

Much better, because it's not designed as a contact site (a strength and weakness).

I've been members of both since their first 6 months, and I've never had proper spam on FL, and never had an issue with fake profiles. Here, 40-60% noise ratio is just business as usual...

It's not, as a matter of fact: most of the time for the last couple of days I can't even get into the forums, I just get a blank screen and a spod until I try again.

I can't even look at fucking existing threads or open a forum listing: if it's not in the scroller at the top of the screen or the top listed thing in the forums list, it might as well not be there.
