I did bodybuilding for a couple of years - all I got was a strong back that looks really unfeminine! (But I could lift a lot and got a wicked right hook!). I guess I'd fall into the category someone (sorry) mentioned as having chicken legs - totally out of proportion! Still, my misguided youth didnt rob me of the best legs for miles around at least.... I dont see anything wrong with male or female bodybuilders, if thats what they want to do with themselves its up to them. My only problem with the whole thing is the use of chemicals to aid development - and the vast majority of successful bodybuilders do use them to get to the size they are. I was offered them, but said no and thats why I got out of it - I had got as far as my body and nutrition could get me and I wasnt about to take injections to do more. The problem with these chemical aids, is that they wreck the health of the person taking them - again, some might say its their choice, but honestly when you are as focussed as you have to be to achieve in bodybuilding, that is not a risk that most consider. Liver damage, heart disease, blood clots and infertility are common. For females using testosterone based chemicals in particular, menstruation stops, the voice drops, body hair grows and worst still, the clitoris grows out of the labia turning into a mini penis under the influence of the hormone. (The penis and the clitoris are the same tissue by the way). Besides that, its really not attractive either! Fitness does help in making one attractive, but being huge and sweaty if you are a guy or totally lacking any feminine curves if you are a gal, does not! E
