heavyblinker -> Trump pays off victims of his terrible scam of a University, but nobody cares (11/21/2016 6:28:41 AM)

Seriously, no threads about this?

Trump's defrauding of his students was a big part of the attacks during his campaign, and yet when he pays them all off to silence them, all that anyone can talk about is Pence at Hamilton.

Here's an article that suggests Trump's tweet regarding Hamilton was actually a calculated move-- it distracts people from the more serious issues and can be spun to be about how the liberals are big meanies who throw temper tantrums whenever they don't get their way.

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/11/21/opinions/trump-dead-cat-hamilton-maltby/index.html

Not only that, but Trump has already refused to dissolve any conflicts of interest regarding his massive business empire, paving the way for him to become far more corrupt than Hillary... possibly the most corrupt president of all time. And nobody is even paying attention.

http://fortune.com/2016/11/15/donald-trump-conflicts-interest-ethics/

Trump might be unfit to be president, but he is definitely a master manipulator.

Tell us about smoke and mirrors again, tamaka.

It has been mentioned a few times already, but strangely the righties are real quiet about it and still crying that the left are NOT falling into line and respecting everything.

The really pathetic thing is that none of the rightards who were bleating that Clinton's taking consultancy or speech fees from foreigners while an elected official is a breach of the constitution have said a word about the fact that the circus peanut has as yet shown no sign of even the intention of doing away with any of his business holdings that might cause rather more profound conflicts of interest.
Weird, eh?

Lucylastic -> RE: Trump pays off victims of his terrible scam of a University, but nobody cares (11/21/2016 8:10:24 AM)

everything he is touching is conflict of interest. it seems..
some transition, lol
But we cant expect his base to believe anything, so theres really no point.

WhoreMods -> RE: Trump pays off victims of his terrible scam of a University, but nobody cares (11/21/2016 8:19:31 AM)

So it would seem.
Myself, I find the fact that the tiny-handed shitgibbon who's stated that he's the only man in American politics with the nerve to oppose daesh has business arrangements in Dubai and Saudi Arabia that picking a fight with the jihadists would jeopardise hilarious. Small wonder that th Trumptooners are doing everything they possibly can to ignore that one.

Should we make Collar Chat a safe space for you?

I mean the outrage, the tears, the violence... Smells like victory

You mean you don't know the difference between settling out of court and taking money from foreign countries when you are making policy for our country? Particularly when those foreign countries get special favors afterwards? Finally we said it was a conflict of interest, not unconstitutional.

Greta75 -> RE: Trump pays off victims of his terrible scam of a University, but nobody cares (11/21/2016 10:30:22 AM)

Personally, the whole University thing. Trump is only getting sued because he is a Billionaire.
How many useless degrees do most Universities have out there? Plenty. Many have gotten it, and unable to get employment for especially some extremely useless majors or if the University is not a top school for that specific majors.

I don't know, in my world, before you pick an education, you should do your research on what employers will accept, not BASED on what the University is selling you, because MANY Universities sell you useless degrees.

Secondly, as Lucy has said, BECAUSE he is a business man, who runs a family business, EVERYTHING is a conflict of interest. Like seriously. Even access to his kids ARE conflict of interest, because his KIDS run his Company. Technically by right, for the next 4 years, he should be forbidden any contact with any of his children, incase any "top secret" info get out verbally to them.

Inevitable.

What can ya do? You can't stop a man contact with his children just because his President. That would be crazy. There gotta be blind faith that he will keep some things confidential from his family. But that's all blind trust.

That is the nature of his previous job. When I considered Trump, I am prepared to trust him not to abuse this and make decisions that benefit the country and not just his company.

End of the day, if he wants 4 more years, he gotta deliver the more jobs and higher income bit of things. That's the goal and his goal.

I think Trump is realising how isolated a President has to be. He is even worried, he can't even call and talk to his friends anymore.

Nope, the U word was used, until it became clear that your own monkey was ignoring article six rather more aggressively than Clinton ever has, whereupon, doublethink was invoked and you changed our story.

You're not up on the whole lawsuit, Greta.

It was a shady (at best) undertaking and that the lawsuits have gotten as far as they have are testament to there being at least a little deception involved.

Article 6 of the Constitution is about having a requirement to be of a particular religion to hold a position in the government and thus not relevant to anything we have been discussing.

No dumbass he is being sued because he is a criminal.

How many useless degrees do most Universities have out there? Plenty.

How would a self proclaimed dumbass like yourself know? You claim to have left school at age 12.

Many have gotten it, and unable to get employment for especially some extremely useless majors or if the University is not a top school for that specific majors.

Which "useless" degrees are you speaking of that cannot find employment?

I don't know, in my world,

The world you claim to live in makes you a millionair while quitting school at age 12.

before you pick an education, you should do your research on what employers will accept, not BASED on what the University is selling you, because MANY Universities sell you useless degrees.

Which universitys and whch degrees?

My mistake: I was thinking of a section of Article One.

Now how could a non-office holder violate article one to a greater extent than a man like Obama who ignores congress and tries to rule by executive order (royal edict in his case) , the worst he could do is say he intended to continue the policy. The good thing about his attempt to rule by executive order is they can all be erased by another executive order without violating separation of powers.

This is typical of foreigners who try to lecture Americans on our government, you just don't get it.

Actually the Nutsucker one-eyed King Trump will proclaim 6 royal edicts on his first day, he will be the king of royal edicts inside his first 100 days, if he isnt impeached for his corruption, fraud, fiscal irresponsibility, unconstitutional acts and so on by then.

And at a 25 million settlement, and having takine 175 million from the people in his fraud, he paid nobody back and ended up with a 150 million worth of ill gotten gains from the American people, but he is going to look out for you guys.
