Dubai has gotta be the most "moderate" among all the middle eastern Islamic countries right?

So modern and so fancy, and YET, they still practice this shit! This is the fault of their religion!

"This is tremendously disturbing," Radha Stirling, the group's founder and director, said in a statement. "Police regularly fail to differentiate between consensual intercourse and violent rape.

"Victims go to them expecting justice, and end up being prosecuted. They not only invalidate their (victimization); they actually punish them for it."

I laugh at this statement! THIS is being DISHONEST. The truth is, the police aren't failing to differentiate. But sex with anybody other than your husband is ILLEGAL in Islam, EVEN if it's through rape. They are simply doing what is Lawfully Sharia Law.

Good luck to this Brit Woman. She's gonna get Flogged and jailed. Someone should have stop lying about Islam being a peaceful religion and educated her properly what real Islam is about! But I bet if I told this to her, she'd accuse me of being xenophobic and racist, EVEN though it's true. Glad she gets to test the theory out for herself.

The Leftish West needs to stop lying to their people about Islam being peaceful and friendly to women.

At least so that their women won't be so stupid as to report their own rape in Islamic countries and get prosecuted themselves. Most people who knows that Islam is evil know that if they got raped in an Islamic country, just swallow it and leave ASAP before they arrest you for it! The rapist could report you for raping you and you would get arrested for it! This travel advisory to Muslim countries should technically be out there, but it is unfortunately not politically correct to mention negatives of Islam. So they rather their women get in trouble like this than properly educate them about the truth.

I blame her plight on the LEFT lying to her about the peacefulness of Islam.

I'll say now what I said then - stay the fuck out of those shitholes. Check the laws of a country before going there. I like beer and weed and I have o desire to rape, so I will not be going to any of those countries.

Mainly it is the lure of money. You can male a hell of alot of money in some of those countries. So if you want that money bad enough then go. Might as well call Neosteel and stop off in Germany for a chastity belt.

You other thread about the hijab, did it ever occur to you that maybe they want to cover their whole body because of fear of getting raped ? Maybe this Woman should have worn it. With rape being practically legal, Women should think long and hard about going to places like that. Is the money worth the trauma ?

They are still getting raped despite wearing a hijab. Most women who got in trouble for rape in Muslim countries were wearing the whole ninja suit ya know. It's not like they have a choice not to wear it.

But MOST countries give travel advisory. Like currently USA gave travel advisory about traveling to Europe due to Impending ISIS plot.

YET they refuse to educate their women about the dangers of Islamic countries, and also advise them not to report rape in Islamic countries as rape in Islam, they prosecute the woman by law instead of the man.

It is the duty of the country to give appropriate travel advisory to protect their citizens.

So they have failed to do so on this part, because they are tippy toes around highlighting the evils of Islam.

This thread isn't about going there.

If you are not in that third world shithole called singapore you cannot be beaten with a stick for petty offenses. Likewise if you are not in a muslim country you cannot be subject to their laws. How is it that simple fact seems to escape your tiny islam hating brain?

Thompson, your questions are getting more stupid, SINCE This is about a Briton woman WHO was unaware of the law, because she was taught that Islam is peaceful and wonderful and loving to women. And since islamist are allowed to practice their religion in that third world shithole called singapore that would be prima facia evidence that they are not viewed as a threat to the peace and tranquility of that third world shithole called singapore.

Has it escaped your notice that the UK has a right-leaning government and they've been in power since 2010??

You can't blame the left for this woman's fundamental error.
Travel advice has always been to make yourself aware of the local laws and customs.
She made the crazy mistake that being British, she would be protected by British law somehow.

A British woman has been charged with having extra-marital sex in Dubai after reporting she was raped, according to a UK-based legal advice group.

The Detained in Dubai group said the woman was arrested after she claimed she was raped by two British men.
It said she has been released on bail but her passport has been confiscated.

The Foreign Office said: "We are supporting a British woman in relation to this case and will remain in contact with her family."
The woman, who is in her 20s, was reportedly attacked by two men from Birmingham while she was on holiday.

According to Detained in Dubai, the alleged attackers have had no charges filed against them.
However, according to newspaper reports, the two men have also had their passports confiscated.
It is understood that the Foreign Office is supporting the two men and is in contact with their families.

Detained in Dubai said the woman may face trial for the charges - for which possible punishments include imprisonment, deportation, flogging and even stoning to death.
Radha Stirling, founder and director of Detained in Dubai, said the UAE had a long history of penalising rape victims.
