Donald Trump has cancelled a meeting with the New York Times, a day after berating media chiefs at his headquarters for "unfair" coverage.
Without elaborating, the US president-elect tweeted that the newspaper had changed the terms of the meeting.

He posted: "They continue to cover me inaccurately and with a nasty tone!"
Mr Trump has had an antagonistic relationship with the press, railing against liberal bias, even while benefiting from blanket TV coverage.

Early on Tuesday, he tweeted that he had called off his meeting with what he always refers to as the "failing" New York Times.

The Republican - known to be an avid consumer of newspapers and news shows - said the newspaper had switched the terms at the last moment, adding: "Not nice."

But Jonathan Mahler, a political correspondent for the New York Times, tweeted that it was Mr Trump who had tried to change the rules of engagement.
He said the Republican had asked for the discussion to be private and off-the-record, but the daily had refused.

The newspaper said it had been unaware the meeting was cancelled until Mr Trump tweeted.

I am inclined to believe, given his CV, all other versions other than the orange orangutan version of his deranged reality and eratic paranoia.

But now my mind is inquiring why the weasel backed out WM I think, nay firmly believe because that nutter on a one to one and on the record is a clusterfuk (whats the uk word for that?)..ah, a fuking incoherent mess of derangement throwing a hissy fit.

So their president elect has backed out of one meeting will this be a trend?

Just hours after Republican President-elect Donald Trump posted a video detailing his agenda for the first 100 days of his presidency, promising to rebuild the middle class and "make America great again" for all, he started tweeting again.

In a second posted at 9:22 p.m. Eastern, Trump suggested Nigel Farage, the far-right U.K. Independence Party leader who aggressively pushed the Brexit referendum which resulted in the U.K. leaving the European Union, would make an ideal ambassador to the U.S.

Many people would like to see @Nigel_Farage represent Great Britain as their Ambassador to the United States. He would do a great job!

While Trump promised earlier in November to be "restrained" on Twitter as president-elect, recent weeks have seen the future leader attack the cast of the Broadway musical Hamilton and NBC's Saturday Night Live as well as misleadingly claim he stopped the migration of a Ford manufacturing plant to Mexico.

So in other words, it does not seem like Trump plans on slowing down on the post button.
