You know, about exports. I was thinking about our kitchen appliances. We like Korean/Japan/Germany/Italy/New Zealand, and we even have our own locally manufactured ones. But we got nothing from the US. Even our water heaters, interestingly, we look for Made in UK ones specifically. Not made in US. That's something which nobody would touch a "made in china" ever. You might get electrocuted in the shower. The china ones can be 1/3 or half the price and we rather pay the premium. US seriously drop the ball on manufacturing. Personally, I believe there is alot of potential for Made in US products, if they make a come back. Asians actually have the impression western made products are better quality than made in china and are willing to pay premium for it.
