My son came for a Thanksgiving visit. He was talking about some of the issues that are going on at the school district that he works at in California.

Teachers have been filing complaints that the maintenance crews are using the word gun. Drill Gun, Glue Gun, Caulk Gun, Staple Gun, paint gun, etc. They were told that you can't bring guns onto campus. Work just about came to a standstill.

One of the guys was sealing a leak around a door with caulking compound. A teacher who knew he was working in her classroom walked in while he was using his caulk gun on the door walked under him and a drop of caulk fell off the tip of the gun. He told the teacher to stop because she had his caulk in her har and needed to help get it out. She filed sexual harassment charges for his caulk being in her hari.

Another coworker was talking to his partner about his woody (auto) when a teacher walked in. She filed sexual harassment charges too.

There were other such stories about screws, nails, hammers, etc that had gone awry in the name of poluting our young children with iinappropriate termonology that doesn't meet current political correctness needs.

Me thinks it has gone to far.

Big fucking deal. I was accused of harassment apparently because I caught a couple using my lab for whoopee without the knowledge of their spouses.
In FL......A blue state

Anyone can accuse anyone of anything for any reason...or no reason

Yeah that is true. I was accused of sexual harassment because I conducted an safety investigation where an employee crawled into an auger compactor without adequately locking it out and a fellow coworker almost turned it on because she was out of sight and it was supposed to be running. She was retrieving $20. I made some recommendations and her supervisor decided to give her a letter of repremand because of the safety violations that she had been trained and passed a written test on. I was cleared by my employer 9 times and the state 7 times during their investigation. She took me to state court 3 times and twice to federal court. Her case was so bad that she couldn't even get a lawyer to defend her on contingency. My employer finally fired her (couldn't while the investigation and court was going on) My employer defended me in court. On the plus side, I was allowed to wander around working for other departments to keep myself occupied while earning my paycheck. I had a lot of fun.

This sounds like a political agenda story with less than zero basis in fact.
