The election was Hillary's to lose. She had every advantage of the Establishment behind her, endorsements from several Republicans, almost every major newspaper in the country, the mainstream media, money, women and minorities. But the election results showed that people were tired of the corruption, the establishment, and were wiling to listen to and believe anything that countered that, whether it was true or not.

I thought from the beginning, back when Trump first announced his candidacy, that if anything positive came out of the possibility of a Trump win it would be a reset in the political system. And maybe, in time, that will come. But all I am seeing right now is people digging their partisan staffs even deeper.

So rather than taking the opportunity to say okay, lets get the corruption out of government (by starting with, I don't know, the obvious criminals, like ones that have already been convicted) lets go ahead and position this guy among the top levels of world governments, because Clinton!

I am seeing this everywhere, all over the news, on Facebook, talking with people, and its stupid. With this kind of attitude, we will never get anything more than exactly what we have today. Because anti-Clinton people will never let the shadow of Clinton stop stop guiding their own political fears.
