I voted for Madonna, because I loved her music in the 80s. These days, people vote for people for much stranger reasons!! I would nominate MANY people that were not on your list of selections. It will be interesting to see, if many NON politicians begin running for office, in the future.

Apart from Dear Jessie her '80s stuff leaves me cold, and I don't care how much charity work she does, I'd like to see her dead for the shite she's been churning out since the turn of the millennium. FFS: it shouldn't even be possible to record a version of American Pie worse than the original, but she somehow managed it. Now Cyndi Lauper on the other hand, would definitely be electable...

I havent got anything older than 92.. For me, her work with aids makes up for her "abilities" after 2000. as for Lauper...I agree:)
