Damn China getting pissed off at everybody for being friendly to Taiwan, because Taiwan is actually a NICE country. Female President and all. Taiwanese people are wonderful people!

And I think China are being big bullies on Taiwan at the moment.

That's better than being friendly with Iran.

The Trump US wants to pull back from global military presence, then bully China. China dominates Asia and the south-pacific.

It's a lot of noise...and if it isn't, Trump is going to get the US's ass kicked.

Their response is rather muted.

I think the Chinese respect tough leaders who don't suck up to them or walk on egg shells around them like Obama.

Russia is being Friendly. The Chinese is scolding everybody who be-friends Taiwan. Huge difference.

Status: offline 		Actually, China might lose a few percent of their global sales if the U.S. did an embargo. But, the U.S. is only a minor part of the global market. The U.S. would lose more in an economical pissing contest with China.

America military might is more than the rest of the world combined, obviously Russia has twice as many warheads and some rusty tanks - not that most of the aforementioned would actually work...But military hardware wise America Trumps(ffs) the rest of the world combined.

I would be more impressed if he stood up to his boyfriend Putin. My latest theory is that creature has no bollocks and is powered by hot air.

Taiwan realized that the Americans had elected a fucking moron, and better yet, that he is currently surrounding himself with other fucking morons, and took advantage of the fact that said fucking morons had no idea what the One China policy even WAS. They realized they could sow divisions between America and China and manipulated this absolutely unforgivably stupid sack of stupid shit into offending them. His bullshit lies that he doesn't believe OR remember are coming back to bite him on the ass and now instead of Trump or anyone around him admitting that he's a fucking moron who has been played and will continue to BE played by people who aren't fucking morons, Trump has decided to pretend that he's intentionally getting tough with China. He's winging it without ANY of the facts, as usual.

I honestly don't think there has ever been anyone so tremendously stupid and irresponsible in charge of anything so big and powerful before. This man is an abomination, a subhuman that barely qualifies as a primate... and why everyone isn't absolutely terrified right now is beyond me. Why everyone isn't currently begging the electoral college to put ANYONE else in the White House instead is beyond me. It's seriously like someone took a dump in the Louvre and everyone thought it was a work of art simply because it's in the Louvre.

China builds their own processors, and we use them in our military equipment. For the root of that problem, go see St. Wrinklemeat, your nutsucker boy. Free Market communists do not support defense technology with industrial Policy.

China was aware it lagged semiconductor technology in the 1950's. After the cultural revolution, in 1983, they started coordinating and funding it as a matter of national industrial policy (something free market communists eschew to the United States everlasting detriment), and they first partnered with Taiwan, then several other foreign governments, for R & D. In the 1990s the government backed the policy for business use.

In 1993, Clinton allowed the sale of a 8 million dollar Cray, and why not? Nutsuckers proclaimed it legal, wonderful, and in their corporate masters best interests, because in his final days in office Mr. Bush overruled the Defense Department and ordered the approval of a license pending necessary processing. And it was done and there went the Cray.


On October 2007, the United States Government enrolled SMIC in its Validated End User (VEU) program as a trusted customer of regulated U.S. technology, thereby reducing many of the export control barriers for SMIC. That would be your nutsucker boy, W.
