So, other than pure nutsucker asswipe, please cite the actual facts and circumstances of these claims, other than a special interest industry group says so. 1) Nope. I addressed the heart of the factual problem. You stuffed your fingers in your ears and chanted "Nuh-uh!" and convinced yourself that was logic.

2) Add gender confusion to your growing list of incompetencies:

- can't distinguish factual argument from editorial
- can't accurately recognize logical fallacy being applied, and misses them when applying them
- confuses counterargument with fallacy
- confuses bias with fact
- can't recognize partisan players nor propaganda vs. supported claims
- thinks "Nuh-uh" is a logical point, among other persistent childish dances in lieu of discussion/debate
- unable to discern gender accurately.

If you want to dance or buzz around proclaiming to yourself that an industry group vested in the pipeline is a "fact-checker," that's your own confusion. But expect that others are going to call you on it, because whatever you want to title it, it's a position paper, not "fact checking."

I put up a link to a site created by a bunch of people including civic groups, labour groups & farming groups as well as others (around 40 different groups in all including some from the pipeline industry). Fair enough, they all have a vested interest in a clean, safe, efficient environment.

It might be seen by some to be a little surprising that the injuns aren't part of this grand coalition if, as they claim, they have the greatest vested interest of all, and the huge range of gas guzzlers in their campsite carpark indicates that they have at least as much yearning for oil to flow as everyone else.

The page contains links to a range of other material, much of it independently verifiable.

I made no comment about it. At all. None. Zip. Nada. Not a fucking word.

I (wrongly, it seems) assumed that adults would be able to read it and the links to verifiable data, digest it, analyse it, compare it, incorporate as much as made sense to them, and formulate and develop their own view of the overall situation at 'standing rock' instead of relying on emotive, cry baby nonsense from the professional protesters and provocateurs.

Incapable of exercising mature thought processes you and your boyfriend, mnotterclue, did the predictable, knee jerk, (emphasis on 'jerk') schoolyard bully thing and launched straight into a vitriolic personal attack on myself.
