So, this guy walks into a Washington D.C. pizzeria, whips out his trusty AR-15 and throws out a round over the heads of families with kids crowded into the joint. Why? He came to investigate. A citizen investigator he is. Story amplified by social media has it that Comet Ping Pong was fronting an international child sex-trafficking ring run by that notorious whore house madam Hillary Clinton. Dude gave up upon learning the story was false, and faces years in jail, away from his own two children. Dumb shit. Tragic result of social media promoted conspiracy shit stories. In reaction to the arrest twitter types are claiming the arrested dude was a false flag paid actor. STORY Promotion of the baseless theory has come from some of President-elect Donald Trump’s most visceral supporters, including the son of retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, who is slated to be Trump’s national security adviser. Washington Post This is trump World in tin hats. Of course the conspiracy blogs are out in force attacking the Post's story. These false stories can have dangerous consequences. There seems to be no way to defend against them or to stop them unless the Owners of social media platforms censor the citizen reporters as Amazon did recently with partisan reviews of the Fox News lady anchor's book. We used to have monitors on this forum. Should Twitter, Reddit, Face Book, that lot, censor posts?

So, we need people to tell us what we can and cannot say ? And why, because others are so stupid to believe it ? I think we need to remove the warning labels from everything. Like the ones on a table saw that say "DO NOT EAT". There is more. They got table saws that have a mechanism in them by which the stop the blade within microseconds if human skin comes in contact with them. Well why don't we have the kids learn to work with them and then when confronted with an older one without that feature can cut their fucking arm off ? With anti-lock brakes people don't know how to control a skid. When I was a kid we did not wear helmets riding a bike, we learned how not to crash it or fall down. We got real suntans, not sunscreen and yes sometimes a sunburn. We had treehouses, don't fall out BECAUSE IT HURTS. When you got in a car wreck, or wait... We stood up in the back seat and when Dad punched it when the light turned green we got thrown violently into the back seat, AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Seat belts ? never heard of them. Car seats ? What's that. And none of us died. We were not paranoid about everything. And if you drove stupid, there was no airbag, if you ran into something the steering wheel broke your ribs, WHICH IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN. Learnya how to drive right. Stupid people used to die, that made us better. T^T

I tend to agree Termy. I think there's far too much pandering to people to who need everything spelled out to them in minute detail because they have no fucking common sense. But when you seriously consider the type of fuckwits that need this sort of info, most of them can't even fucking read! Bike hats as a kid?? Never wore them coz they made you look like a sissy. You're right - you learned how to ride the damned thing properly and knew how to do every trick in the book like an expert. Yeah, sure you got hurt sometimes. But that was because you you were learning and not mastered it. You just got up, dusted yourself off, and got on with it. What did you do if it looked bad? You went to mum who wiped it clean, kissed you on the cheek and told you to go practice some more until you got it right. Fall off your bike? Get back on it and try again until you don't fall off. BMX stunts?? We did those on normal bikes with our eyes shut. Sheesh! A bag of salted peanuts that warns you "may contain nuts". Really????? WTF? Are you serious??!??!?? I bought the bag of nuts because I wanted fucking NUTS!! I don't need to be told it may contain freaking nuts! Coffee in a cup with a warning that says "Contents may be hot". Well... DUH!! I wouldn't have known if you hadn't warned me! FFS, what is this lame world coming to?? The PC brigade are running amok and need to be exterminated on sight. One of Donald Trump's aides has lost his job after fanning a conspiracy theory that climaxed at the weekend in gunfire at a pizzeria. Michael Flynn, 33, left the US president-elect's transition team on Tuesday following his tweets about the so-called Pizzagate fake news story. His father, Michael Flynn Snr, Mr Trump's pick to be US national security adviser, has also shared fake news. The Pizzagate hoax led to a gunman firing shots in a restaurant on Sunday. No one was injured in the incident at Comet Ping Pong in Washington DC. The suspect told police he had turned up to "self-investigate" online rumour-mongering that the pizzeria was the nexus of a paedophile ring involving Hillary Clinton and one of her aides, John Podesta. The bizarre and unfounded theory had been spread online by right-wing blogs. The claims were also pushed by Mr Flynn Jr, who tweeted after Sunday's gunfire that Pizzagate would remain a story until "proven to be false". The New York Times reports that he was fired from the Trump transition team on Tuesday but, according to CBS News, he resigned before he was sacked. Attitudes may have changed (or been further uncovered), but the law has not changed. This won't be the only guy who learns this the hard way. Unfortunately, these poor "oppressed" people are oppressing others. But we'll have to stop them one by one, using the law. I'll tell you want, though -- I have never taken the position that we should just take away guns. But honestly, I'm starting to think the progressives are right, that we're just going to be forced to tightly control firearms, as far too many prove they aren't competent enough to be trusted with deadly force.

my stance on guns has changed, over the years, but its not guns that worry me, its the people who believe a gun makes them "right" SO yeah , I tend to agree with you:)

Went hunting for pizza with his Ar-15. All very spontaneous. Nahhhhhhhhh . . . Cause and effect always have a series of antecedents. Clearly, Flynn Jr. is complicit. Is why Trump fired him.
