PonyGroom -> RE: Can Trump Run America from twitter (12/8/2016 7:19:26 AM)

There are several official accounts that will change hands once he takes office. For example, @VP will be under Pence's control. Twitter admins made a statement to that effect some time ago. Nothing will be deleted, they said. I am expecting Obama's tweet history to continue to be under his control, but I don't know what his Twitter ID will be in late January. Will Trump tweet from the account he has been using all along, as well? That account has been dual-access for some time. An Android phone uses it, and also, an iPhone. The Android seems to be his, while the iPhone belongs to a staffer. The staffer posts about events and schedules. The Android user sends out angry rants at 3 AM. BTW while we are on the "what happens after the transition" topic (more or less), Obama still has his campaign organization. It's called Organizing for Action. They still have the barackobama.com web site and they are still organizing. The focus has shifted to defense of civil rights and some other causes. After Trump takes office, Obama will likely become active with OFA, but I've not seen an official statement on that yet.
