ORIGINAL: jlf1961 What exactly is the science requirement for public schools in your country? Our public schools still top the world in science and math anyway continuously year after year, even in PISA this year, despite you wanting to question the quality of their education. http://www.bbc.com/news/education-38212070 quote:
But the plants that they are referring to (which you would know if you actually had two brain cells talking to each other) are house plants. You know those botanical specimens grown specifically to make the indoor environment more aesthetically pleasing, not to mention help purify the air (photosynthesis works indoors as well as out.) As a person who has never lived in any cold weather, will never live in cold weather by choice as I love the sun. How would this knowledge be useful to us. It's like a non-issue where I live. Since it's impossible to get cold weather where I live. And potted plants I keep all need sunlight, I always keep them outdoors. Also benefits from the natural rain water since we have alot of heavy rain all the time, all year round.
