I hadn't heard that. Aside from the Senate being obstructive pieces of shit and the House refusing to do their fucking job, I thought the Republicans just kept whining about Obamacare.

Ironic, considering it's called "The Affordable Care Act" and calling it "Obamacare" has actually just cemented his legacy.

As far as I am concerned, the video jargon was a fucking cover story that got exposed like many other cover stories.

Funny how we didn't need any cover stories for the dozen or so 'Benghazi'-like attacks under W, but then we know why, don't we.

Colin Powell and Condy Rice also did not need cover stories or were ever investigated for what was and wasn't on their private servers or what was and wasn't classified, while they were at state, And we know why there too.

Face it, these people are there to take the hit and do the spin as cover for our clandestine, institutionalized, 'security' and foreign policy apparatus..period.

Forums like this just show how easy it is for the great unwashed...to take the bait.

At the time with limited information I think it was a reasonable comment that was changed with more information... Considering the violence and death because of a simple cartoon the comments immediately after the attack were understandable. The hate directed at her because of her initial statements is more hysterical than truthful and simply a political ploy that many gullible people fell for.

I don't know about Pravda but do feel that now, the US has such a surveillance society as would have the Stasi (east German security) drooling all over themselves.

the white house, cia and Hillary Clinton all knew benghazi was a terrorist attack very early on.

documents, testimonies after the fact by the cia and the military, and most personally damning, an email from Hillary to Chelsea saying (im paraphrasing) "two of our officers in Benghazi have been killed by an al-Qaedalike group", all point to that.

yet at the same time susan rice was running around saying it was the video---given that, I wouldn't call people believing Hillary saying likewise, "gullible."

Bounty there is a difference between who did something and why...don't you agree. Is there any reason that this particular terrorist attack could not have been as a result or instigated or inspired by a video... and still led and orchestrated by an al-Qaeda group? The mention of a terrorist group does not preclude a particular reason for an attack at that time. Otherwise there is no conflict between the statements. And... as more information came out there was a better understanding... There is and should not be anything political about this tragedy unless it was specifically designed as a political ploy to discredit her by her political enemies... It is disgraceful that the deaths were used to influence an election.

Clinton is no more to blame for Benghazi than Roosevelt for Pearl Harbor... or Truman for the Korean war... or Kennedy for the Cuban Missile crisis... or Bush for 9/11.

a "spontaneous protest" is not consistent with actions of an "al-qaeda like" group in general nor specifically with what went on at benghazi.

nor is it consistent with other testimony that mention "terror."

nor does any of it explain the families' testimonies of Hillary telling them it was due to a video, and then her later saying in public that she never said that.

in any event, in this conversation, im not moving on to blaming Hillary for Benghazi, im simply saying she knew it wasn't a video, implied that it was, went along with others saying it was, and in the conflict between who is believable on the subject, her or the family members, im siding with the families.
