1. you cant be owned,,and there are no Masters or Slaves. Definitions will trip us up....
In bdsm there are "distinctions" that allow adults to play, and have fun....period.

I actually agree with some of this. I think there's no such thing as consensual slavery. But, if someone else likes to have relationship that has those terms, then that's their business.

Oh, and there are people that live D/s relationships 24/7, it's about more than just"play".

In reality there is also no such thing as "Total Control", the screen name you chose. Your post should have started with "in my opinion" because it has nothing to do with reality for many other people and the community in general. You might find this thread has some interesting perspectives. both pro and con, that may educate and broaden your view on the subject of labels: -=Sub/Slave, Guppy/Shark, Role Mislabeling Fatal, Shame on You=-

Definitions are vital to communication. You chose to label yourself as a Male Dominant seeking a woman that wants to surrender to you. Those are labels that communicate and define who you are and what you seek. Just because you choose limit your definition/label doesn't mean we should or that you should overlook or discount the labels we use. You will miss out on a lot with such narrow perspectives.

And.... even in the vanilla world, there are legal forms of ownership. When my son-in-law wanted to marry an Asian girl, he had to wait for her 4 year contract as a bond servant to another family to end before he could marry her and bring her to the states. At your age you should know that broad sweeping presumptive statements require a broad sweeping perspective to be accurate.

Well, I feel a lot better now. I'm pretty sure my ass is still going to work today and I'm very confident that I'm still handing Master my paycheck, but this is all good to know.

Actually for me, it's refreshing to hear a dominant leaning person say this.
Because some of the dominants here online sometimes...., keeps thinking it's real slavery with like no realistic idea at all about how this works in real life.

Of course it's the internet, so you will get alot of people who probably never engaged in real life.

Real slavery is the-sh*ttiest reality of all. Something most of us nor you will ever see or feel, so be glad that others can only convince themselves that this is a faux-harsh reality and mind-ya. We are all volunteers.

You are more right than you know. Real slavery exists here in our own back yards. Real slavery still exists to this day in countries where it wasn't officially abolished until the 1960's. To witness it's inhumanity is terrible. Sadly the weak, poor, desperate and uneducated will always be prey to those able to take advantage. Thank the God(s) of your choice we in this lifestyle and modern culture (for the most part) have the choice to make. I'm eternally grateful to be a slave only to my desires.
