For the uninformed, that be a growl. I have no clue as to how many members of this board plays world of warships, nor is it important. HOWEVER, the complete idiocy of some players of that game defies description! For example, the highest class of ship for point value is a carrier. Now, upon spawning, the carriers are at the farthest edge of the map, so no capital ship is going to get to them very fast. But, the friendly carrier player can scout and find that big target fast and efficiently. So, what does the carrier player do? Attack everything BUT the carrier, while his compatriots are dodging shells, ship launched torpedoes, air dropped torpedoes, bombs and friendly ships dodging the same shit. Now of course, lets face reality, no battleship skipper in his right mind would fight a gun battle in a group of islands, but that is what ever freaking map is. It also goes without saying that no carrier would be operating close enough to a capital force to run the risk of being shelled. Of course, this is primarily due to the "abbreviated battle philosophy" of game developers. Back in the early days of online gaming, in one flight sim I was fond of the "hunt" could take 30 minutes or more.
